Chelsea fans better wave their flags aggressively next week to the chant of Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea... Might inspire the team to score first and make it into a tie
Lampard state mediaBT acting as if Chelsea have pulled off a great result with this 2-0 defeat
Like what. You were struggling to break them down.

I know what you are saying but I am usually the last to jump on the 'we can do these' wagon. Not that shite again (and this is not just because of your post, I regularly read stuff like this during other teams’ CL games).
Every season some people claim this. Just because Barca are leading La Liga and we beat them and they beat Real a while ago doesn’t mean we would “dick” Real.
Why not rather stick to reality which is that the very reason United played Barca was because we couldn’t even win our conference league level Europa League group and Barca failed to get out of their CL group.
If we can beat the best teams in Europe then let’s actually do it by making sure we are in the CL next season and then let’s also perform. Apart from PSG we haven’t won a CL knock out game against a “big” team since we beat Chelsea in 2010/11. Hell the only other knock out game we won since was Olympiacos under Moyes.
Decent result, considering.
Most recent. Mount came on and did a worse challenge immediatelyWhich one? Cos this could apply for both he received
Still didn't take the chance to properly kill them off.Like the fact Rodrygo was alone against the goalkeeper when Chilwell saw the red card.
The BT commentary are very biased. They are talking about this game is if Chelsea have had a lot of chances and Madrid have scored from their few opportunities. Even before the red card, Madrid were comfortably the better team.
Chelsea could have easily scored twice to be fair.Is it though? Your team doesn't look very threatening on the attack.
They'll be fine. Chelsea don't score goals, Real are as good as through.I’d be disappointed with only scoring 2 goals if I was a Real fan.
Is it though? Your team doesn't look very threatening on the attack.
True, I’d still be disappointed. Could and should have really put them to the sword. They'll be fine. Chelsea don't score goals, Real are as good as through.
Of course it's not a disaster but it's a bit bizarre to to be talking up this performance. I think they're overrating that performance from Chelsea, they dug in but it was far from being unlucky.10 men away to Real Madrid in the Champs League, 2-0 first leg isn't a disaster.
But not a good result, of course not.
Chelsea could have easily scored twice to be fair.
They were, Chelsea just didn't find the solution/doesn't have the players to hurt Real Madrid. They'd need far more pace up front and someone in the box to take advantage of what could happen on Carvajal's side. It's just not doable for them.

Hopefully we can use these six days and the Brighton game to muster up something as original and creative as "United United United"Chelsea fans better wave their flags aggressively next week to the chant of Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea... Might inspire the team to score first and make it into a tie
The difference is that Chelsea are fecking drossWe could have had another couple too.
Is it though? Your team doesn't look very threatening on the attack.
Is Mudryk a right winger? I’m kinda shocking Lampard didn’t stick him on at half time and just told him to keep running at Cama.I was disappointed no one bothered to run at Camavinga after his early yellow.
So basically the same as every other match they didn’t score in this season?
Yes, I feared it would be 4-0 when we went down to 10 men. I’d be slightly disappointed with this score if I was a RM fan.
Strange postIn order to shore up the midfield, Chelsea bring on ex-Swansea City loanee Conor Gallagher against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
