Madrid have won 5 of the last 9 CLs. They're a different beast from the league. Over 2 legs we'd be getting dicked.Ah right well that’s that then.
Liverpool put 7 past us so why are we still in all cup comps, having won one already, and they’re in none, as well as 12 points behind us in the PL?

I’m not sure if it’s just the difference between club and international football but Enzo Fernandes seems half a step too slow out there. He pings a lovely pass, but takes a tad too long to get it off, can make it easy to read.

Not that shite again (and this is not just because of your post, I regularly read stuff like this during other teams’ CL games).
Every season some people claim this. Just because Barca are leading La Liga and we beat them and they beat Real a while ago doesn’t mean we would “dick” Real.
Why not rather stick to reality which is that the very reason United played Barca was because we couldn’t even win our conference league level Europa League group and Barca failed to get out of their CL group.
If we can beat the best teams in Europe then let’s actually do it by making sure we are in the CL next season and then let’s also perform. Apart from PSG we haven’t won a CL knock out game against a “big” team since we beat Chelsea in 2010/11. Hell the only other knock out game we won since SAF retired was Olympiacos under Moyes.

If the best of Rashford, Bruno and Casemiro turned up in the same game then we could do them some damage but there isn't a better team out there than Madrid that looks out of the game then they score 2 or 3 in a short spell. Dicked is maybe a strong word but we wouldn't be going through with this squad. Next year who knows.
He needs surgery. He put it off so he could come back and play this season but he should have just done the surgery and prepare for next season. He’s playing with brakes on.
The BT commentary are very biased. They are talking about this game is if Chelsea have had a lot of chances and Madrid have scored from their few opportunities. Even before the red card, Madrid were comfortably the better team.
