Champions League Quarter Finals (3rd - 11th April)

Would be good if we could have constant hissing of the opposition when they're on the ball.

Reminds me of La Liga and I love it

I think City have really missed Aguero, without him they have no focus in attack.

It's not "tight" Mcmanaman you biased feck.

Also the linesman that side is definitely a scouser.

All ties are decided aren't they? Real are through, Bayern won away at Sevilla so that's basically done too, Liverpool are looking secure and Barca is leading 4-1.

If they got a goal they'd still need to win 2-0. I'd hardly call that a more likely outcome than a one goal win for City.

2-0/3-1 would keep them in the tie, they would be home and Pep could actually get off his high horse and try to adapt his game plan to Liverpool's.

Liverpool are playing at Anfield and have to score. This is nothing new. What compounds the result is the fact that City have been very poor and Pep didn't change anything from his previous encounters with Liverpool.
Liverpool's "poor" players believe they're maradona. On top of that they play with an aggression, intensity and reactivity that makes them very, very difficult to play against. And then they have real quality with crazy pace in Mane, Firmino and Momo Salah. They're the only team i'm not confident we'd beat

Liverpool in a position where they are picking up tactical bookings/suspensions.

Sevilla were fairly unlucky to lose by most accounts yesterday. If they score first that tie could get interesting.

If it ended 3-0 Liverpool will go through. Impossible for Pool to not score at Etihad.

Liverpool have been excellent. Credit where credit is due.

More a case of City bottling it. This is by far their worst performance of the season, they haven't created a single chance of note all night. Can't remember the last time that was the case for City.

Sane looked comfortably onside even on the first viewing. Strange offside decision.

City will be up for it in the weekend to satisfy their fans and forget this lose. It's even more difficult now.

Nah, Liverpool annihilated them in a similar manner in the league at Anfield. Unless you think they bottled that game, too.

Well, yes, but you said that if they got a goal they'd be favourites, which is what I disagreed with.

City were much better in this league game tbf. This just is so bad. They look clueless with the ball for the first time this season. Didn't create a single chance through the whole game.
