Champions League Quarter Finals (3rd - 11th April)

Liverpool advance to the Champions League semifinal on the night Sterling and Coutinho go home. Excuse me....

Barca have no one but themselves to blame really. Look like it's Reals again this year. Somehow I reckon if they had Neymar they could have done something.

This is why this Tournament drives me crazy....

City potential 100pt 100 goals ....
Barca potential unbeaten season ....

CL makes those seem meaningless. Bonkers.

At the end of the day, a league title is a league title. The CL requires you to be perfect on the day, such is the nature of a cup competition (which, for all it's glamour, it is at the end of the day)

How did Barca let this happen?? I need answers
I need answers too. I mean what happened?? Barcelona are flying high at the top of La Liga. Were the favorites along with City to win the competition. Something must've gone drastically wrong.

Any United fan in here happy that Roma are through are mental, lucky Liverpool will get them and probably get to the final if they draw them.

Anyone starting to feel this is starting to look like the 2004 competition ? Us getting knocked out of round of 16 to Porto, a big team as Milan losed to Deportivo 4-0 and all this strange stuff.

Roma beat barca 3.0. Liverpool crushed city. Both were huge favourites. So our exit against sevilla does not look as that disaster.

Everyone was talking about the possibility of City being the third team make up a three goal deficit, but no one mentioned Roma. What a win!

Please don't let Liverpool draw Roma. Please.

You probably thought Barcelona would destroy them so who's to say Liverpool would have it easy? I don't see Liverpool making the final no matter who they draw

It was coming for Barca. They were quite lucky against Chelsea. Shame as it makes it easier for Liverpool to reach the final/win it, at least before the draw.

What’s more unbelievable is Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves have just made sense on the punditry too.

Roma were very good, created lot of chances. Don't remember Barca's clear cut chance at all.

City lost 3 in a row, 2 back to back home losses. Would like to see Spurs get something this weekend just to add more salt to their wounds.

They will win it and then Klopp loses the final against Heynckes yet again. It’s written in the stars at this point. He will be ending his career with a CL win.

Twice.

Ronaldo wouldn't have let this happen....

I'm focusing on the positives, Barca and City out.

Rooooomaaaaa roooomaaaaa romaaaaaa. Coreee de staaaa cittààà. Uniiiicoooo graaandeee amoooreeee. Che tanta e tanta geeenteeee. Te fai sospirààà....

Rooooomaaaa rooooomaaaa bellaaaa. Ah feck it

So the semi-finals have Roma who are 4th in their league and Liverpool who are 3rd. People are touting Real Madrid to win it now...who are 3rd in the league.

Starting to understand why the CL isn't all it's cracked up to be?
That is a ridiculous belief you have there. This is exactly what the CL is about.

Dzeko is class. Just saw it could have been another penalty on him in the first half. And few penalties in the game before.

I think we'd give Roma a tight tie, Bayern would likely beat us but we might sneak it. Real would crush us...

As long as we avoid RM in the semis, I'll be content.

I don't think Liverpool will win the CL, but I'd much rather they draw Real than Roma. I'm not sure about Bayern. They've got a slow backline.
