Champions League 24/25 | Matchday 6: December 10-11

I hate this format, another step in the money-first path football has been following for the past couple of decades.
I just like it that my tiny team gets to play like 4 different top teams in one season.

And we even look like we're qualifying for the next round.

How did we not go for that Thuram kid now playing for Juventus? He is quality.

The entertainment in the Group Stages overall is significantly higher for me in this format.. Really like it tbh..

Now get rid of the f*cking nations league - without bringing back international friendlies - and the football calander will be more healthy again

Lamine Yamal is what Arsenal fans try to pretend Saka is.
In contention for the dumbest post of the night, only 45 more minutes to go

You arnt quite through yet, youve got Bayern Munich at home next then you have to go to Lille for your final game

City in big trouble. Not even guaranteed to get through.

Anyone else driving themselves crazy trying to watch today”s UCL games on DAZN? Their service is dreadful!

Been utter shite for 2 months aside from 1 match and yet Citeh will likely dispatch us with ease Sunday.

They should do but they’ve actually been worse than us. What is it 1 win in 9? Possibly 10

Commentator raving about Foden about to come on like he is about to turn the game around. Foden has been dog shit all season

This demise can't be all down to Rodri's injury

No, not entirely. Not having Rodri doesn't explain why they're losing almost all their games. In other words, Rodri missing isn't the reason they're playing relegation form. Rodri is the reason why they beat Arsenal to the title. Which brings me to the point. The biggest issue is that psychology is football is king. City are playing the exact same football, same movements, same shifts of play, same everything, but mentally when you're not there, it can undo every tactical advantage that you have.

They are mentally and psychologically shot.

City are 22nd with 8 points from 6 games as it stands only 1 point above the elimination zone
PSG away next and they also need points, but they finish off with Brugge at home which they will probably win easily (it is in late January so they’ll probably get themselves in order before).

No one other than Arsenal fans are taking Saka over Yamal.
Who said otherwise ? You're making up arguments in your own fantasy world. As long as you're having fun, keep going !

Which would say more about United.

As against Forest at the weekend United probably won't make themselves hard to score against and beat.
Like I’ve mentioned though. They’ve actually been worse than us. It as a draw written all over it though. There struggling to score. We’re struggling to score. I guess it’s whichever defence makes a mistake first

lost their invincibility

The verdict will come through before the Brugge game and if its guilty a lot of their players will probably want out

BT goals show would be a hell of a lot better if they didn't tell you everytime what's about to happen. Braindead

Thuram, Weah and Conceição in Juventus. That is a lot of football legacy. Must be kind of unique.

Forgot to say it yesterday but I really hope Germany call up Yann Bisseck quickly, he is eligible for Cameroon as well and he looked really good yesterday. In a position where we don't have a lot of quality.
