Raya’s command of his area is seriously impressive.
Jack of all trades. Master of none. A great plug and play guy that always gives his all. Perfect squad player.always liked Laimer for some reason.
Saw it on replay, yeah he kicked through his foot.Foul on Haaland probably.
1-0 Haaland.
Speaking of the keeper: I always said that Donnaruma is overrated but is he benched or coming back from an injury?I think they complained about a possible foul on their keeper.
For a bloke who is basically a midget by GK standards, he's incredible at claiming crosses etc.Raya’s command of his area is seriously impressive.
Miss him a lot more when we sign himWe are really missing Pedro Gonçalves. He's the heart of this team.
Worst half of football this season I’ve seen from you guys. You seriously look a shadow of yourselves from 2 weeks ago. Passing isn’t crisp, the movement isn’t there and the spaces are definitely not there. The manager literally didn’t have to change a thing when he took over. It will be interesting to see how you guys bounce back from this for the rest of your season. You're watching Ten Hag United. I got singled out and warned at Sporting forum because I had the temerity of criticizing the Sporting board for appointing the portuguese equivalent of the Tranmere Rovers manager who is used to managing against Walsall and Crewe. He is unsurprisingly getting exposed. Wasting our best squad in 40 years with Renee Meulesteen wanabee.
Why does football coverage in this country all have to be lowest common detonator guffSame. It's a real shame, they absolutely ruined it.
Isn't he injury prone?Miss him a lot more when we sign him
Flashbacks of Gary Medel usually marking 1.90 guys at set piecesShame we concede such an unfortunate pen. We had City somewhat under control at the end of the half.
It's funny Timber marks Haaland during corners. He's like 1/3 his size.
Odegaard is such a lovely player, effortlessly bossing this game
So it's all your fault, could you not?Every time I watch Sane, each and every finish of his ends up straight at the keeper.

You need 2-3 players to man mark him (even that didn't work, as evident against Chelsea when he still assisted despite being surrounded), you man mark him by 2-3 players then Saka and Martinelli will destroy teams with the space left.I wonder why teams don’t man mark him. If the likes of Pirlo and Hazard could be man marked I don’t see why Odegaard, who is far inferior to them, can’t be.
Young Boys Atalanta is what you seekWatching Bayern v PSG but it's all a bit of a damp squib at the minute.
Any of the other games worth watching?
But they aren’t playing a new system. I’m not even sure what the incoming manager would change when they have been flawless this season. If Amorim only had a couple of training sessions to try and get his influence across, surely the same logic can be applied to Sporting?
Yes, they are probably the best team in the country while City are not themselves.Arsenal have been very good since Odegaard came back in. The better side at Chelsea and then comfortably beat Forest, now 3-0 up at HT against a good Sporting side.
No. I'm not talking about training or time. I was specifically talking about CV. Ruben Amorim when appointed was a young manager with residual experience but at least he managed a top tier team in Portugal at Braga, had very good results with them against the 3 big clubs in Portugal and won a league cup. João Pereira was our B team coach with no CV or experience who got appointed because he's friend with some Sporting board members. This hire is inexcusable for me.If Amorim only had a couple of training sessions to try and get his influence across, surely the same logic can be applied to Sporting?
Too reliant on Odegaard and Saka imo. Without the former, they're less effective as an attacking team.Yes, they are probably the best team in the country while City are not themselves.

Those two passes Davies fecked up and basically assisted PSG almost had me shouting at the TV.Damn we should lead by 2 by now.
PSG is only dangerous when we make mistakes and they can counter. I'm underwhelmed by Vitinha, Neves, Ruiz and WZE so far.
They just need another fortunate season on the injury front like last year, keep those two fit, and they'll win the title. Been saying in the Arsenal thread that people have been too quick to jump on their poor form. I still see them as firm favorites for the title, followed by Liverpool.Too reliant on Odegaard and Saka imo. Without the former, they're less effective as an attacking team.

He could be referencing the fact that the manager is below par and lacks charisma. Same with us with Ten Hag. He had the players to at least finish top 4 but he couldn’t.That's kind of my point. Sly is blaming the clueless manager, when it looks as if he hasn't really changed much, and it looks like he's trying to keep things similar in terms of formation and personnel?
