Cesc Fabregas

As long as he was wanted at Barca he was never in a million years going anywhere. The fact that Moyes didn't have a plan B and pathetically kept trying to make useless bids for him did very little to endear himself to the fans.

Moyes plan B was always Fellani

Lets buy this guy please barcas new style doesn't suit him well at all.

I have my muppet hat on hip hip hooray I think we should sign Fabregas and Pete Storey is gay. He used to play for Arsenal but fecked off coz they're shite, sign him up for Moyes united coz there fecking dynamite.
Right out from MUFC Facebook?

No way they will sell him. He's been pretty good this season whenever I've watched and I guess he's been their best midfielder so far with the likes of Busquets and Iniesta not hitting the rhythm the way they would have liked. He's quite important to them at the moment.

I reckon he probably would come here if he wasn't wanted at Barca. After all, we'd build a side around him, pay him more and offer him the chance to win PL's regularly. He might love Arsenal but he isn't stupid, we're still a bigger club than they are. Moyes being here doesn't change that.

Problem is there's no way Barca want to sell him and we're not going to bid enough to make them reconsider. Not a hope in hell of this happening.

He's never going to Manchester to play for David Moyes, you mentalists.
Got to be a valid quote stating the same about RVP before he came and got his hands on some silverware,

Edit : Ah you added in David Moyes name, I wonder why people think he wouldn't play for any manager at a club like United. It's actually a deluded thought given the clubs stature.

You have to wonder if RVP would have made the same decision if he knew SAF was retiring at the end of the season.

It's unlimited these days you fecking outdated spazzerbag, keep up.

Still fair use limits, pisshead.

Some of us prefer our pornloads in Blue-ray quality for the projector. For some of us, every KB counts.

Seems unlikely since SAF said in his book that he had to apologise to him and Kagawa since they both asked about his retirement plans before they signed, and he assured them he had no intention of retiring in the near future, so it must have been important to them.

Get a big satellite dish and watch the Italian stuff in HD if porn is interfering with your ability to browse and post a few kbs on a website.

Yea you wonder and I am sure SAF was a part in his decision but that's still not helped us in the last few years SAF was rebuffed more times than I can remember. Our only really big name signing other than RVP being Berbatov, the main issue was/is more likely to be financial.

I find it is cheaper to tell people on internet forums to stop wasting my bandwidth.

But the porns so much better and you don't have to wait hours for a 10gb file to knock one out, plus the diversity of channels available on hotbird means there's always something on to suit, even if you like the D
As for Fabregas it's worthy of discussion and your only wasting your bandwidth if you are only using the thread whine about it being a waste of bandwidth, it's sounds like irony.

Most players would want to play for SAF, not many would say the same about DM. They'd play for the club and the expectation that it would be competing, but DM is not a lure for top players.

I don't think that's necessarily the case in all honesty. At the end of the day, the top players want to be playing at the highest possible level. It's yet to be seen how far we go under Moyes.

We've had players rejecting us to sign for clubs without a manger, so as big a draw as Sir Alex was, he wasn't a bigger draw than money. There are exceptions of course, but the manager probably comes third or fourth after money, the stature of the club and the city.

As long as we keep CL football, we shouldn't struggle too much. We're rarely in for the top bracket players anyway.

We're not going to compete for top players until we're willing to pay top money. There's no sign of that happening so far, so I'm not holding my breath.

We can compete for players with high level potential with more ease (as we did with Rooney, Ronaldo, Anderson, Nani etc) but that's riskier and can also involve paying quite a bit of money. Still, it's a much more realistic level for us to aim for. That's why the not going for Thiago (if we really didn't) was strange, he was the perfect mix of potential and bargain.

Can't really argue with Grinner's point though. Obviously players would've preferred to play for SAF rather than Moyes, so it certainly does reduce our attractiveness to some players. How much depends on the player's priorities, of course.

If Moyes gets it right in terms of style and results, we'll have no issues at all. I didn't see Barcelona losing their (bigger) pulling power when they got a novice like Guardiola as coach.

If pigs fly you mean? And even if the little pink fellas are buzzing around OT Cesc won't be.

If we play like crap and don't get results obviously we'll struggle to bring top players in. Though I've no idea how Moyes will last in that case and a new man could make things better.

Fabregas? No, he's not coming anyway.

St Deino signed Dennis. Moyes will last about as long as Rioch (so you better pray for a Wenger to follow).

Equally, with similar offers on the table I think a player would choose United over Spurs.

Absolutely. I'm not even going to argue that. I'm talking a player having the choice of top tier clubs who would certainly factor in the manager to their decision.
