First of all, I wasn't referring to 'comedians', as you called them. I don't give two hoots about their opinion on anything.
Secondly, yes, it is important for Clinton to comment on Weinstein because a) she claims to be a leading voice for feminists and feminist issues, and b) Weinstein, her and her family as a whole, have a long alliance. It's bizarre that it's taken them, what, six days to comment on a huge scandal involving a large donor to their political campaigns and an issue she claims to be passionate about. There's the problem here.
As always with these self-centred weasels, they try and see which way the bricks are falling before committing to a stance. It truly is repulsive.
