Players hear Man Utd and think money money money .
Let’s move on
Let’s move on
The most ridiculous part of that prediction is the idea that Van de Beek would start.Lineup for Liverpool
-----------Casemeiro---Fred------
---------Pulisic----VDB----Sancho
----------------Felix/Ronaldo------
The most ridiculous part of that prediction is the idea that Van de Beek would start.
Absolute steal if you put it that wayA big benefit to this is his and Varane's knowledge of eachother
70m + 363k a week for 5 years for a 30 year old Brazilian.
Madness
A big benefit to this is his and Varane's knowledge of eachother
Its £59m
Probably £10-15m more than true value but they don’t want to sell so you have to twist their arm right?
That explains it. Thanks for the heads up. I feel like this is kind of sensationalistic, and I'd like to know what gives JFD this idea, especially since Casemiro's also happy enough to stick around at Real Madrid and the club not necessarily willing to sell the player.
What do you guys (from the Madrid perspective) reckon will happen?
It's one thing looking to spend big money on FDJ when at least then you're signing a 25 year old you know suits the manager's approach and you know was the manager's main target from the very start.
Whereas in this case the player is half a decade older, there's no indication whatsoever that he was any sort of primary target for the manager and there would be absolutely zero surprise if he didn't perform as well under ETH as he does for Madrid given the increased emphasis on possession and building out from the back, which aren't strengths he's known for.
If you're spending big money it should be for a player who is central to the manager's plans and definitely fits the intended style of play. Not a latter choice option signed in an atmosphere of desperation to cries of "he's better than what we have".
I'm very sure a lot of the posters who would cheerlead this deal on also cheered on previous flops with the same lack of foresight or alarm at the process behind the signing. And then wonder why the team doesn't turn out so well despite the money spent.
I'd rather twist their penis
A big benefit to this is his and Varane's knowledge of eachother
ExhaustingMoan moan moan moan moan moan

Fair enough, cheers.Manchester United offering huge sums of money to both club and player. Otherwise it would not be realistic to speak about it.
As I said in other thread, human beings tend to value more what they don't have. At the end of the day you are offering the guy the possibility to get a much better contract, play in the Premier League and seek new challenges. Maybe Casemiro values that package more than most players because at the end of the day, if he doesn't get successful he won't regret not having won enough when he ends his career.
If United really want him you'll get him.
Sure but you seem to want to just hone in on the negative shit that suits your narrative. Just seems odd.
I’ve said how much of a good player he is. It’s the 5 year deal that’s a massive red flag.
Seriously who is offering a player approaching 31 a 5 year contract it’s madness.
You’re taking everything you’ve seen as fact?
well let’s see. If it’s a 3 year deal I’ll be delighted.
The financial outlay on this deal is disgraceful if any of what's reported is true. I hope none of it is true and that its purely being pushed by United as a smoke screen to get Barce to force the De Jong deal through.
I would take Casemiro for €20m on a €200k weekly wage, maximum. Should not be paying a penny more.
Anyone defending this madness shouldn't complain when 2 years later we are stuck with a past it player on insane salary and still with 3 years left in his contract.
The most ridiculous part of that prediction is the idea that Van de Beek would start.
Casemiro and Fred are a good partnership for the national side right?
I think we’ll be in for Spin. He‘s right in the middle of the action there and we’re crying out for that kind of player.Step right up, step right up and see who we're bidding for tomorrow!!
Got it. I guess that makes more sense. Let's see how this develops over the next few days.Manchester United offering huge sums of money to both club and player. Otherwise it would not be realistic to speak about it.

That's why I told in my earlier post that it's too late now .yeah but 2/3 months ago they’re situations were different. They are all better than our current midfielders bar Eriksen.
Again going for 31 year old with no resell value. This club will never learn.
