There would have been more positivity from Ducker if it was still possible, however he basically said staying because too late to do deal

Yeah real shame, maybe we could revisit in January but doubt that happens. Could have offered him a route out of his Chelsea exile, thought we liked working with young players that have potential.

I think that's the main reason. Or our medical staffs said they were understaffed this season already.
