Interesting. Wonder if Chelsea would be open to it. Maybe we're actually looking to do a deal with them then.
 
Now this is intriguing, he has the profile of the kind of rangy midfielder we don't have. Reminds me a lot of prime Abou Diaby at Arsenal, that 8 that can break pressure and carry the ball through the middle.
 
Is he more of a central midfielder? Yes please if so.
 
I'll be so pissed off if we are lumbered with Sancho and you get Chukwuemeka. Praying it doesn't happen. Carney is a quality player who was playing well last year until his unfortunate injury.
 
Waiting for someone more reliable than Dharmesh Sheth to report it before getting hooked in
 
Between him and Mount we can have a fit midfielder to cover Mainoo

Would rather have preferred the Brazilian lad at Strasbourg, looks a player. Doubt Chelsea would have let him go though
 
His injury record combined with our record of injuring players is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.

He's on 120k per week and he's done nothing in football. With Mainoo on probably a third of that I don't think it's a great idea.
 
No idea who this is other than being a midfielder, could somebody tell, is he like Mctominay replacement throwing in at later stage for grabbing a goal and helping at corners, or technically sound rotation option for Mainoo with pace and agility?
 
Good talent. Love watching him. Terribly injury prone though.

The Man Utd website says Sam Mather is a left winger. Dan Gore is also a lot smaller — I don’t think either sound like comparable players in profile to Chukwuemeka

I see him more on the wing rather than 8 or a 10. If we're shifting Sancho surely he'll probably be a cover for the left wing rather than Mainoo.
 
Fits in line with Chelsea's theme of sell a player and buy a player from the same club this summer
 
Similar player to Mainoo, would be a great rotation option.
