Carlo Ancelotti | Real Madrid manager

You don't just judge experience by age and then list a load of layers by age....

It's a combination of age/maturity and match experience and how a player puts all that together within their own game and as part of the team. 21 with 150 games is nothing, 1000 games between 4 players means nothing when they don't even have 100 games played together.
It's okay to admit that you're wrong sometimes instead of doubling down on being wrong. But you can keep believing whatever helps you get through this ordeal.

the streak is over

Milan are pretty woeful this season so to lose 3-1 at home is a terrible look

Has signing Mbappe broken the well oiled machine? Or are they missing Kroos?

Won't be surprised if Real sack him soon. Past achievements mean nothing there if you don't continue winning. They'll probably go for Zidane and another 1-2 CLs

Mbappe poses a tactical problem that Ancelotti is unable to solve because he isn't much of a tactician. Same thing for Kroos. The players are frustrated and tired because they're not protected by a proper structure and get routinely outplayed by inferior teams on paper. Basically, Carlo is done.

Alonso to Madrid is pretty much a given at this point. Only question is how soon - do they pull a United and try to bring him in mid season?

Excellent season last year but 4 wins in 9 in the league this season and just got battered by Liverpool.

Looking more and more of a risky appointment

Considering how it is going for him in Leverkusen, perhaps doing it sooner than later is better for both sides.

They'll still get through in the CL and if they win the game in hand only 6 points behind in La Liga, bit early to be sharpening the knives.

Sack him? He just won you the CL and La LIga a few months ago.

Surely he deserves more respect than that.
It is not a question of respect, he is respected, but the game has not been good for a long time. It doesn't look like a blip in the season but more like an exhausted project.

The attitude and level of the players does not help either. That's why a change can be positive, to motivate competition and bring new ideas.

The timing is not good because if they want to bring in Alonso in the summer they can't give to Zidane, they would need a short appointment, a "Solari", which makes it more complicated for the players to cooperate.

Zidane till the end if the season sounds about right to add another CL in the bag.. i believe La Liga is gone already not only because Madrid is in terrible form but because Barcelona will steamroll it as it seems.. so Zizou with his magic still can win the big prize at the end of the season..no one else..Ancelotti is done.

Raul is waiting...

He is a great man manager and close to perfect for running a functioning team of superstars but he is no longer someone that can build a team. But it has been this way for 5+ years.

No but they've won 3 of them by trusting Ancelotti.
The only time we looked this bad under Ancelotti we were dealing with injuries and fatigue mid-season, won nothing and we sacked him at the end. Then won 3 CL in a row with Zidane

Probably a combination of both, plus Bellingham seemingly gone off the boil as well (maybe to do with signing Mbappe/losing Kroos and thus altering his position as well?). Either way, time to go for uncle Carlo.

Wasn’t he lined up to take over the Brazil NT at some point? Or did I just dream that into reality in my head?

He won you the league and Champions League (again) last season and you're second in the league.

There is a fine line between being correctly demanding of success and spoiled to the point of it giving second hand embarrassment.

So? That was last season

Meh, unless things go catastrophically bad he'll finish the season, then get sacked

Who is it giving second hand embarrassment to?

The way your fans talk hopefully you will get Alonso, the way his second season is going I'm sure you'll be crying out for Ancelotti.
