Carabao Cup 2022/23

How the feck did Southampton miss literally 2 sitters in the last 3min?  :wenger:

Bloody hell - that’s Sunday league levels of feckwittery. They need to be getting changed in the car park and finding their own way home.

Leicester
Newcastle
Southampton
Wolves
Forest
Charlton
United
City/Liverpool

Charlton at home will do.

So other than Charlton, only PL teams left in it. Most of those teams could cause us big problems, especially if we're away from home.

City/Liverpool away to Newcastle and us at home against any of the other sides and I'll be happy

Sky doing their absolute best to make Klopp's Liverpool out to be some neck and neck opponent to City. They've won one Covid title over them. Hardly this massive rivalry it's made out to be.

Fabinho and Keita on the bench. No idea why they're not starting.

Because Sky can't afford to tell the truth. That there is no rivalry and their golden goose PL is nothing more than a one team league bought out by oil money. Basically like France with a few 'other' teams.

So suck it up, deary.

Once Pep fecks off it'll blow open again. City had no clue what to do before he came. Mancini was decent.

Hopefully but he could easily stay another 10 years, he's already been there since 2016. Club is literally made for him, he basically is City at this point, there's no sign of him leaving anytime soon. Given that he's only 51 he could end up spending a very, very long time there.

Pep is irrelevant from next season. The PL will become a four team race for the title, with or without Pep: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar and Saudis. Much fun to be had.

Nah he'll get bored eventually at that empty vessel of a club.

He won't become bored. He'll be found out when three other clubs start spending £100m+ on players just for the bench.

Great managers still make all the difference in a sea of oil clubs. Again see City before Pep came. Look at Chelsea now. Newcastle will basically be City under Mancini for a few years yet until they find a great.

After we get our oil money and Newcastle continue their spending spree he'll feck off to some other one league team like the coward he is.

I'd rather see Pep survive AFTER Klopp and Ten Haag buy 10 players each for nearly a billion per club. Then see where 'Pep is the difference'.

Doubt it, he just signed a new contract ….and usually see’s them out

What's with the massive advertising boards around the pitch. City really are massive

It's an illusion. There are normal sized boards behind the normal sized boards. Trust City to find an economic loophole or two.

Yeah I've had a drink and just noticed the stewards sitting there .
Still looks weird.
