Fun game this.
Schürrle with his first good bit of play in... months? years? Dortmund 3-2
no he was awful as usualHe's actually played well tonight.
Koln 2 - Chelsea Legends 3
no he was awful as usual
They what? Batshuyai scored two and played the pass to Schürrle for the 3-2. Weird decision. They gave him MOTM on BT. Awful? Not tonight.

Maybe because he scored the winner. On german TV they gave the MOTM to Batshuayi. They gave him MOTM on BT. Awful? Not tonight.

Yeah, it's not that he is bad, but he has to be one of the most frustrating players. The occasional moment of sheer genius, able to decide matches with one ball, then again ages of mediocrity.Obviously Schürrle is still Schürrle and has a terrible touch at times, but I think he is getting too much heat because of the world cup and the fee Dortmund paid for him.
He's did well in a Großkreutz kind of way and was already okay against Hertha. Always running, giving Dortmund some directness that the kids upfront still lack.
Wasn't me who called him that. I didn't watch enough of the game to be able to tell.I agree. He was not "awful" though.
I'd agree with that for sure. Debut, two goals and an assist. Poor bloke was knackered at the end!
You mean Dortmund, right?Chelsea in disarrary, desperately trying to get a big lump striker and they settle for a loan for Batshuayi with no buy option. Chelsea will have quoted them a number, so why not simply add that as a buy-option. He does well, you buy. He does not, you leave it alone. Now it´s just a win-win for Chelsea. Dortmund are such amateurs.

Well duh. I thought you could figure out the part, where Dortmund demand the option, or walk away from the deal on your own. But given Dortmund´s obvious lack of top end ambition becoming a schooling club for Chelsea seems the logical next step.I wonder if guys like you ever stop to actually think about what you are writing - just for a minute - before you accuse executives of being utter morons. Why wouldn't take Dortmund's (or any club's) management take a "free" buy option if it was on the table? There is absolutely no logical reason for it, so chances are things weren't that simple.
Dortmund needed a fast solution. They must reach the Champions League and lost their striker. They had the chance to get a good striker for a short time. Makes absolutley sense. They will buy one in the summer window and maybe even Batshuayi.
Sorry i dont really understand what you write. Matches without striker didnt function? What matches without striker? I don't get it. And of course they have a striker solution for the rest of the season. They needed one, they got one, for the short term. They will (and have to) invest in the summer. And yes, the fight for CL places is tight, I didn't say otherwise. The matches without striker did not function lately. And they did not have a striker solution. And the fight for the Champions League seems to be tight with a lot of clubs this season.

Dortmund fortunate to be winning this, Koln missed great chance in first ten minutes.
