Bundesliga 2016/17

Since you have clearly no idea about Bayern, Hoffenheim, the Bundesliga or Süle, yeah, better stop posting.
Because we all know you want to go down the "Bayern buying their rivals" route (Hoffenheim....yeah....the West Bromwich of the Bundesliga clearly is a HUGE threat) and you are still defending the shitty crock that was Benatia as a "good backup" when he clearly wasn't.

Yeah, you just created a fantasy scenario in your head, probably based on the amount of times you've faced that exact discussion on this forum so it's understandable that you have a very trigger-happy defense mechanism. Even though I never said any of that.

I know from your previous posts to not take you seriously so I'll spare you.

If we're talking based on performances alone, Sule would definitely start when competing with that group. It's obviously not comparable to Boateng and Hummels.
Toprak has been one of the best CBs in BL recent years and he surely wont come to warm the bench. Its a far cry to say he would definitely start, as all the others offers something too. Its not as definite as Boateng and Hummels though, so I give you that.

Anyway, he obviously welcomes the opportunity to learn from the best and wants to play for Bayern. Its nothing special you know, a lot of German players have that dream so let him.

You should prob watch some Hoffenheim games to recognize, that indeed he has been good this season..very good actually.

His name is Rudy BTW.

So generous :)
And we both know this WAS the route you were taking.

We had finally started to look better playing a proper 4-2-3-1 without auld Alonso... Why Couldn't we just keep it that way?

Rudy.... why?
Let me try to offer some reasons.

He is playing DLP since this season and is doing it in an impressive manner. He is the captain of Hoffenheim and the brain behind their success on the field and he offers everything that you need at this position e.g. great passing range long or short, good technique to shield the ball, structuring the game with a clear head and in a calm way. Its maybe comparable to Schweinsteiger, when he finally found his role in CM after being useless on the wings. Rudy was also bit underrated when playing RB for Germany and he is IMO another example that Löw isnt that blind.

He can play multiple positions and could be the prototype of a useful squad player. His contract is running out so he costs 'nothing'. He is a German national player afterall in his prime with 27 and even if it wont work out, the chances to sell him for a profit are high. He could be an absolute bargain.

I think Rudy only makes sense if Alonso leaves the club in summer. Otherwise he just wastes a space in the squad for a new quality midfielder which we clearly need.

Robben is out. Costa is not a so good right winger as he is left - and Ribery had problems this week, too. I just do not understand two things - why can't Kimmich or Sanches play the offensive right winger - and why is Thiago playing the left and not the right 8.

Alonso can't even stop attacks with cynical sliding tackles from behind anymore.

So according to Kicker Eberl is thinking about replacing Schubert with Hecking.

On one hand firing him seems long overdue and Hecking is not a terrible choice on paper, on the other hand this move shows a lack of ambition imho, because while Hecking should be capable of keeping them in the top 6 I think he lacks the attacking finesse to elevate them to another level.

chapter "in football, nothing is so absurd it can't happen": Notorious underachievers 1860 Munich, currently placed 14th in the Bundesliga II, presented Vitor Pereira as their new coach.

He's very underrated. They did well by getting him

Strong rumors in Germany that David Wagner will be the new coach of Wolfsburg.

Well there were already romours about him and several clubs this summer (especially stuttgart i think). Its like every german team tries to find there own klopp (or maybe tuchel/nagelsmann), these sort of young coaches who play with high pressing and so on. Would be really sad for huddersfield, with the nice story they developped over there but for him being coach of one of the richer bundesliga teams is a great opportunity, even so its Wolfsburg...

Before the match Bayern-Leipzig tomorrow
The father of Leipzig's right fullback Bernardo junior - Bernardo - was a Bayern player from August to September 1991. Augenthaler always tells the story that they went on a raft ride with the team on the Isar and they poked him into the water and shouted crocodile, crocodile. He said that he never saw somebody swimming that fast...

Dortmund always need to waste 5 chances to score 1.
Frankfurt having a great season. 1-0 to them against Mainz.

Pulisic always has one touch more than the necessary, otherwise he would be just perfect.
Beautiful move by Dortmund. Mario's shot is just too straight at the goalie.
