No shocker Sporting started winning trophies as soon as Fernandes left. Not elite and certainly doesn't have elite mentality.
 
I wanted him to take it but the club should learn to dangle the carot... players form drops after pay rises/contract increases.

Rewarding poor performance’s was an awful decision from this club, wasn’t like it was running out or other clubs were chasing him.
 
He needs to stop whining and start playing better. I now he played great for 18 months, but he has underperformed this hear. Yet, now he has his new contract. Instead, of giving him a reasonable raise, we doubled his wages. Madness. It's not the miss that hurt us today. It's the awful control for Xhakas goal and his sub par performance. I wished we included more bonus rather than plain wage.
 
Stop the whinging, stop the rolling around, get your head in the game. Hopefully ten Hag can get a tune, but he’ll have buyers if he doesn’t

It is definitely ironic, maybe they benefited from being able to play a proper system and use the ball the better without bruno wanting to do his own thing and be so wasteful in possession.

The guy is getting off too easily for all his wasteful shots and Hollywood passes that kills our build up time and time again, he is living of past glory, much like the club as a whole
 
We should sell the entire first team squad including Bruno. Play the reserves for the remaining games

i don't get how some don't see it. Even when he was scoring and/or assisting every other game, it was obvious his general play would always hinder us.
 
Why did we give him a new contract when his old one wasn’t due to end until 2026

He’s been in bad form for the entire season, and a new head new coach is about to arrive.

We will never move forward as a club until we fix these decisions making and I thought our new restructung is meant to improve this side of the process??
 
Paul Merson was fecking right. Giving him a new contract was incompetence once again. I’d be surprised if ETH has him after a season. His general all round play isn’t good enough.
