He’s one of the most intelligent players in the squad. If he had athleticism he’d be an absolute beast.

Lovely goal, really not designed to play wide given the lack of athleticism but worked his arse off. Would say a good day at the office for him today.

The problem. Should be dropped. Definitely winning matches like this without him. Easy. Just like before he signed and we were stubbornly rooted to sixth place...

There u go. Even though he was rubbish, stats will say otherwise, scored a goal.
I can only imagine a world in which Redcafe somehow existed in the time of Eric Cantona, and that people would somehow wander online, furiously claiming how bad he was and how much we needed David Hirst instead or something. But all I can remember is one time being on teletext and seeing someone circa 1996 or so demanding we replace Ryan Giggs with the FAR more effective Jason Wilcox who simply did his job and got the ball into the box. Fortunately for us, we didn't. Essentially, I hate you and I hate absolutely every single one of our fans at this point who would rather complain about an absolutely world class goal than enjoy it.

 what was Cantona's average pass completion % though?!

Ran his ass off tonight. No matter where he gets played he gives his best

Credit where due, we were shite but the run and brilliant volley won us the game.

Made one of the goals of the season seem like a regular goal. Ridiculous footballer.

Weird they didn’t put his passing stats though

I like how he misses that he had 55% passing completion today.

He did what we needed from our best players. Won us the game through pure magic. We need more of this.

He wasn't kidding when he said he'll play every position the manager asks of him. He's played DMC, MC, AMC, RW, LW and sweeper this season.

Finish was identical to Ronaldo’s against Spurs away a couple of years ago. Bruno was on the other end of that goal, with the pass!

How did he get that weird shot off when he was tussling with a defender and the ball came to him? That was impressive!

What a finish, played wide so not his natural position but made the most of it with intelligent runs which resulted in the only goal, so overall he was good.

I'm a Bruno criticizer, but bravo for that beautiful goal which won the team some badly needed 3 points. Still think that we shouldn't build a team around him and his strengths, but I'm giving credit where it's due. Man of the match, just for that.

That was a great finish. Lovely movement for the goal.

Also that improvised shot in the second half was quite something. Also...

Great post.

Guy scores an absolute world class goal, plays out of his skin, was man of the match by a mile, by far the most dangerous United player on the pitch,

Weird moaners on Redcafe:
'But look at his passing stats'

Some people just want to moan for the sake of it.

Its bizarre. Especially as he was playing as an inside right. How many inside forwards have really, really high pass success rates?

He wasn't getting on the ball regularly and, when he was, he was trying to make things happen (as he should).

We won the game thanks to Bruno scoring a goal that few players in our squad could, from a position that he obviously doesn't love and tends to be marginalised in.

Still some are unhappy.

You mean few players in the world.

Brilliant finish for his goal. Also had earlier left foot chance that was saved and decent attempt from Dalot's cross near the end.

Gave the ball away a lot.
