People who bash him are utter morons.

A performance like that whilst playing injured.

We are lucky to have him.

Just 2 goals and an assist for Bruno tonight.

I have that as 8 goals and 4 assists in the last 10 games.

At a time when almost every other Utd player is playing like total shit, he's a shining light.

Bruno hitting form is the only hope we have in the final. You know it will be completely down to him finding a perfect long ball to our forwards for a goal.

I don't think I'm going to change anyone's mind about him, but is clearly a talented player. You can say that he is a bad captain, he can't be part of a winning team, he is a 'problem' etc. etc. but saying he is a bad footballer is objectively wrong.

He was downright diabolical for periods of this season, don’t get it wrong, but the last 10 games he’s really found form again. Last 3 or 4 he’s put the team on his back.

Agree 100%. People will try to change the narrative but he was absolutley terrible for a good 3-4 months to start the year. Has been brilliant this past month or 2 though amidst everyone else going to shit though. Today was as good as I've seen him play in a couple of years, not only because of the goals/assist but just the decision making and execution was sharper than it's often been. Regardless of the goals, we didn't get sucked into a basketball game for much of the day today which I think helped him as well as it doesn't tempt the devil on his shoulder to try 10 straight long ball hoofs to a runner in the midst of chaos and allowed him to play his creative attempts around the opposition box where there is less risk of a turnover punishing us.

He was excellent, what a hit for the goal, beautiful strike.

But in all seriousness these are bottom of the league and absolutely useless. This should be considered a standard base level performance and not seen as a higher standard than that.

Been our best player this last month. A huge upturn in form, it’s a good job because almost everyone else has gone off the boil. It’s been the story of the season really for everyone. Just individuals having spells of good form.

Don’t know if it’s a pattern but Bruno seems to come good in April most seasons.

Also very true. Basically all of our points have been from hot streaks of McTominay, Garnacho, Hojlund, and then Bruno in that order. Wild

As it though? A lot of people are 100% sure he’s done at the end of the season anyway. So whatever results we do or don’t get won’t affect it.
Check my post history. I wanted ETH out after the champions league feck up. One of the first 19% that was ridiculed for seeing what everyone is finally seeing now.

Good performance from him today, for some reason I am dont care if he stays or go. What one cant deny, he gives his best

SU couldn’t live with his movement tonight, the amount of times he found space with perfectly timed runs really opened them up.

2 goals and an assist is a standard baseline performance? Give your head a wobble.

In a nutshell which is why it’s amusing the theory is that he thrives only in chaos. It’s the exact opposite, he’ll create and score in chaos, but his all round game suffers as he constantly forces it.

He could have got 2 goals and an assist and been absolutely terrible otherwise, he wasn't.

Performance isn't just about goals and assists, his overall performance was very good and for me, that should be the minimum expected even without the goals and assists, you could still say he had a good game.

Couldnt say it better. If you have something personally against him, his face, the way he complains , etc, just said it and move on. But dont say this guy is bad for the team and because of him we play shit, be better.

So this performance shouldn't be his baseline then? If it was he'd be comfortably the best player on the world.

That what we saw tonight, it's absolutely nothing to get overly worked up about, it's how he should be playing every week. People are so starved of quality performances they'll make it out like it was something extra special. It wasn't, honestly that overall performance is the minimum we should expect, the goals and assists are the cherries on the cake.

I'd say people who bash other people are morons. But there you go, making sure this thread will be buzzing as soon as the next bad game comes in and then probably remind people to "not overstate one match".

I think, Bruno played well today. Wouldn't go overboard though, I personally haven't seen anything that hasn't been seen lately, today it came off a little more than usual. Don't know how many attempts he had, nice to see one come off. But his form is stabilizing which is great to see. (everything that keeps his price up for the summer is a win win for both sides of the Bruno trenches ;))

8 goals and 4 assists in the last 10 games.

He's the only United player along with some of the younger players that can come out of this season with a shred of dignity. He deserves so much better than the version of United he's sustained since Ole signed him in that January window.

No, the goals and assist are part of the performance.

I'd say that you saying that people that bash other people are morons by your own logic makes you...

Bruno was excellent today, enjoy it and ungrit those teeth.

1 goal 3 assists in 17 before that.

That's Pogba numbers.

Like everyone else he was having a bad season, but unlike almost everyone else he's never stopped working hard and we've seen in the last couple of months he's hot form and looking like he's back to his best.

People acting like he's one of our biggest issues are deluded in my opinion.

He's been playing great lately but my opinion on him hasn't changed, I still want him gone.

He's carrying us now at a moment when we have nothing to play for. Also no surprise that we see an uptick in form when he needs to perform in front of the new ownership group.

I don't think he's a bad player, I just don't think we're going anywhere with him in the role he occupies in our team. We need a rebuild with new pieces not rearranging pieces around the same player.

Look at our rivals, they've all signed new players to usher in the next gen. Odegaard, Palmer and while Foden isn't a new player, he's a young ready made replacement for KDB. We've been there and done that with Bruno, nothing will change in my opinion so we'd be better off cashing in on his recent form and undergoing a proper rebuild. Especially as he's one of the few we can get decent money for.

Single-handedly won us the game and regardless of his shortcomings, he always gives his all and tries to make something happen - in stark contrast to so many others in the team.
