It looks like a WUM but you never know with Liverpool. It could actually be genuine.

Brenton and Liverpool really are the perfect fit.

Indeed we are the perfect fit good young manager with a team who are improving.

Who's Rodgers been rodgering ? This is a guy down the pub rumour and I hadn't heard it before but had he left his wife for a bit of fluff. Was a while ago apparently and google confirms it.
I was thinking he looks like he's had work done, especially on those shiny whites, looks like he's enjoying the spoils of his new found fame, we might find him turning up to work in a white shirt and medallion before long.

So he his team lost 2 nil against two parked buses?

A sign of quality management if there ever was one.

Yet he has us in first, using less money than any of the other title challengers.

Come on, Barney, what has that to do with what I said. In that 100-minute match today, he was totally outwitted. It was men against boys stuff, Liverpool had absolutely no plan B.

He's having a meltdown in the post-game press conference, by the way. He's losing it.

Rodgers on Chelsea approach: 'It's the polar opposite to what we do ... it's not difficult to coach, to put 10 players on the 18-yard box'
Rodgers asked whether he would ever set up a team to play like Chelsea. Answers, 'What do you think?'
Rodgers: 'Jose will probably shove his CV in front of me [to justify approach] but it's not my way of working, I like to take initiative'

To be fair, he did win the playoff final once...

....and there's the Benitez meltdown, right on cue. Thank you very much Brenton, now good luck with that nose of yours.

just like Everton, as soon as they started getting bigtime they've crumbled.

How the heck did they just lose to a Chelsea team like that?!

Loved it.

Ah this is going to be a fun summer with Liverpool having blown the chance to finally win the league. Good times.

Rodgers has done an impressive job at Liverpool, he's proven that he's a good manager, but if he wants to take the next step up from good to great, he'll have to learn how to deal with oppositions that will eventually learn how to counter his tactics. (Something he failed to do against Mourinho today)

Or a team who have exceeded where they should be due to other big teams changing manager, who had ONE chance to win it. And are close to blowing it.

The greatest of managers know that when the time comes to adapt... you adapt! Fergie did it, Mourinho does it and Brendan doesn't. That's why he won't achieve too much. He may yet win the title. But he will not achieve like Mourinho or Fergie.

It's all about City away at Everton.
Win that, and they have 2 home bankers.

I wouldn't call them bankers, remember that just last week Sunderland took points off both City and Chelsea away from home when no one expected them to. City should definitely win both games though.

Villa and West Ham!?

You'd probably only pick Cardiff and Fulham above those 2 in the banker stakes!

Or one Mrs. Rodgers.
