Brentan Rodgers

Nonsense. Pretty unreal that he didn't get a ban given the nature of his accusations. His snivelling back tracking over the subsequent days probably saved him.

Sir Alex would have been hanging by the balls at this point.

What's the betting Moyes gets a touchline ban?!

Rodgers has quite explicitly accused Mason of cheating.

It's not him questioning the referee's performance (which was fine by the way, don't know what he was moaning about), but implying that Lee Mason was biased. Fergie did that and copped five matches. Two were suspended, admittedly, but still.

I just think that if you said, for example, that you were laughing at the ref's decisions, they should go easy on you... it's good to see them not being too harsh on managers, I'm sure they will continue to apply this fairly.

If there is a risk of Moyes getting a touchline ban is there an avenue to force the FA to ban Rodgers in his place instead? :D

Noyes has accused every referee in the league of cheating.

How dare you accuse Mayne Moyes of that.

So it couldn't just be that he is from a part of Ireland from which you haven't known somebody?

I agree it's a shit accent but it is a northern Irish accent and being from NI myself I can confirm that they are all bloody dreadful.

I just took umbrage at your use of "properly Irish" as if the're all supposed to sound the same.

his wide set eyes are almost fish like. I saw an interview with him the other night and nearly had nightmares.

He may look like a shark, albeit a well slimmed down one but he is doing a bloody brilliant job. If he could just sort out the defense or bring in a little help to sort out the defense then we could have a right old crack at it.

I can't see there being too many nil nil games between now and the end of the season. Say what you like about us looking ropey at the back yesterday but Stoke had conceded a total of 7 goals at home all season with City, Chelsea and Everton having all failed to win there and we went there under a lot of pressure following the Saturday results and scored 5 at a ground we have not won at in the PL.

It's all good in the hood. Top 4 still the target for me though. Anything higher will be a bonus.

THIS was the game Rafa went to after his fachts interview back in 2008/09. And subsequently showed no ambition to win the game. We dropped two points and Manutd scented blood to climb back above us and win the premiership. THAT was the game that changed it for me with Rafa, I fell out of love with him - even before May came and Manutd were rubbing our noses in it.

Again, Manutd scented blood. All they needed was for us to drop 2 points as expected and they'd be right on our backs. We faced Stoke and set up to score, score, score. Then make some subs and score some more. :) Oh Rafa, why were you not as good as Brendan? It wasn't rocket science.

T. :) Oh Rafa, why were you not as good as Brendan?

Bit too early for that talk. Different managers altogether and Brendan has a looong way to go to match Rafa's haul (for all clubs).

I don't care what Rafa achieved with other clubs, as those trophies do not sit in our cabinet. Rafa had near on 6 seasons with us and under-achieved despite the glorious night in Istanbul.

I like Brendan and his ambition. Lets just leave it at that (I don't want to be hunted down by pro-Rafaites and burned at the stake). :)

If he brings in a really top centre-back, I think they'd be water tight. Enrique's out injured, but him and Johnson are a decent pair of full-backs and Agger is a very good player. Skrtel's been a bit wobbly this season and I'm not a fan of Sakho, I think he's an accident waiting to happen. Kolo Toure is good experience to have around, though you probably don't want him playing 38 league games or anything.

Going forward, Liverpool are devastating.

Nice attempt at some fan fiction there.

I am far from a pro-Rafaites (the fact you even have a term for it implies you're more anti than I am pro). I just responded to you saying you wish he was as good as Brendan which, considering Brendan has yet to win a pot to piss in and Rafa has won everything in football except the PL, came across as a bit foolish. Brendan does of course have about 20 years to emulate Rafa's record.

For the avoidance of any confusion, I am very much pro-Brendan.

It's alright, you're safe here, it's not RAWK.

Do you do it on purpose?

Why? Aston Villa vs Arsenal was a better time surely as peterstorey will be paying special attention to Lambert's assembled squad of marvellous players. He won't when we're playing them.

Even if Villa beat us, does that make Lambert a better manager than Rodgers? No, it won't even scratch the surface. So I guess we're just waiting for Pete to pipe up now. :)

My dislike towards him grows with every passing week.

He's obviously doing something right.

Trudat Popper. We absolutely despised Moyes at Everton but seem to have a soft spot for him now. :)

Doing a great job, no doubt. Maybe it's the 'Liverpool effect' on United fans, but like with Rafa, I get the feeling there's something not quite right about him. Some days I find myself considering if he is actually a psychopath, but then others I just think nah, he's just a massive cnut.

WTF? It was, is and always will be a glorious night for all Liverpool fans.

Is yours the most meaningless post of 2014 so far? Do you do it on purpose?

Well most United fans refer to '99 as '99 and 2008 as 2008 and the same goes for most other fans about their successful evenings like that. Liverpool fans always seem to overplay it in the most cringeworthy fashion possible, so I am asking do you do it on purpose or does it just come naturally?
