Luis doesn't jump, he soars.

Look, we have every right to be angry and so does Rodgers. Look at the reactions last year post Madrid.
I dont agree Barney. We had more than enough chances to win the game and Brendan is cleverly trying to take the pressure off his players before a huge game against Chelsea. He wants to keep their confidence up. Blaming the ref for the result and not mentioning glaring misses from Coutinho and Sterling keeps players heads up going into a game against an out of sorts Chelsea.

I thought st. Brendon didn't play these games?

Wonder the reaction when Liverpool start falling out the top 4.

If you ask Brenton it'll be something about his project or about how he values the team building potential of working for the top 4 over the trophy potential of winning the league.

If you ask a scouser it'll be Fergie's fault.

Rodgers is the 4th longest serving manager in the PL at the moment.

Just sit and think about that for a second, that is mad.

Brendan would make a top, top Doctor Who. Such charisma for a small man.

Can we autocorrect "Brendan" to something else, please?

Nothing grates me as much as Scousers referring to their manager/players by their Christian names. Not sure why.

If we're using RAWK as our inspiration, why not something less polite? How about 'Old ****** Nose'?

That works too. Come to think of it, Brenton really needs to catch up on the drinking. He looks too clean. More of the King Kenny brand of red-eyed paranoia. Now there's "charisma" for you.

Such a bullshitter. Is he saying that he's handicapped by not playing in europe because he doesn't have a big squad. How does that work?

I think he's trying to say playing in Europe allows you to have a bigger squad because you're playing more games so can keep everyone happy. If you're not in Europe and have a large squad there is bound to be unhappy players.

He has had to play 8 less games than us. How that can be turned into a negative in terms of squad usage and rotation is something only Liverpool could do.

I don't think anyone agrees with him. I don't think he believes it himself. That's what I mean when I say he's a bullshitter.

Last season his comments were worse, this season he's been a lot more reserved in the press. I think most of what he says is very calculated.

Yip. Must have had an effect on Webb though as that was a stonewall penalty that Chelsea should have had. I hope he gets nailed by the FA.

If you mean Hazard it was far form a stonewaller, it could have been given either way, Lucas went in a bit hard but Hazard flops to the ground too- he made too much out of it.

No, he was barged in the penalty box. The fact he went down or was looking for it is completely irrelevant. It was an absolute stonewaller.

Rodgers against what are generally regarded as the other top 7 teams in the PL.

As I alluded to in the match-day thread, if they played Norwich and Fulham at Anfield nineteen times apiece, they'd win the league title by fifty points.

A very brittle side when the chips are down in the big games.

Subbing on Brad Smith was a strange move. The youngster looked absolutely clueless.
