Well we can't accuse him of not going the extra mile…

no. But every match he seems to have the 'monkey of the fans' on his back. His every move is scrutinized...like it is the final decision. Last season weighs so heavily on him and the players....you can see that.

Here is the big fact....he will struggle against the spending power of the Big 3. Honestly..I think he has done OK. Wenger has gone down a bit....but Rodgers comparatively is still a novice....

I think Liverpool will regret it big time if they kick him out soon.

I'm torn between thinking they should keep him and thinking Benitez is a better option. No one better would go there.

the fans love Benitez, who really is not half bad. But he may fall out with the board again. think Rodgers will eventually work out for them...if the supporters give him enough time.
He does not articulate well..even though you know what he is getting at.....some people are like that.. and of course we love to take the piss. The biggest obstacle is if they want to go for the title on a regular basis they will need the funds the Big 3 have. Otherwise it is similar to Arsenal aiming for the top 4...which is well within their ability. This season I honestly think is reaction to last season's debacle.

Rumour has it, he's looking at Torres.........

Don't think it'd be a good signing. Really can't see Torres getting back anywhere near his best, and unless he somehow can then it's a bit of a pointless signing for them.

This is the same board that purchased Balotelli.

To be fair, despite being erratic, Balotelli has often displayed that he does have some talent, he's still only 24, and actually did quite well at AC Milan before going to Liverpool. Torres has been shite for a number of years, on the other hand. One was a risky signing which could've worked but hasn't so far; the other would just be a waste of money.

Well, they know all about wasting money.

Hope I'm wrong but I think we'll be shopping very much in the bargain basement in January, so Torres could actually happen.

Torres would be a good move. He still has pace.

Yeah. Although he did look a little out of sorts towards the end of his Pool career, he was really struggling to match Chelsea's style of play, where he looked terrible and eventually suffered from confidence issues.

But put him in a counter attacking team, and he might actually get some goals. A better fit than someone like Lambert or Ballotelli for sure.

I think I see where you guys are going...

Yeah, Torres, still a lot left in the tank! Misused at Chelsea, fits better than Andy Carroll! The right bid might free him up, but do Liverpool have the courage to make a 30£ bid, to scare away the competition?

I sure hope they don't, I'm scared of the idea of Liverpool with Torres again!

If there is one player that Liverpool need it's Torres. It just didn't work out for him in his last few months at Liverpool, or his three and a half years at Chelsea or his few months at Milan but put him in a good 3-4-3 system and he'll get firing in the goals again

El nino back at the home of the five time European chumpions? Is this fo real. We are worried.

Brendan will be happy if the ladyboy comes home but Henderson might not be. He looks like he's in there in that photo.
