In Brentan's eyes, they're the lego all over the floor when he's walking in the dark.Yeah Crystal Palace are one hell of a team...

'When I first came to Liverpool, I put my principles in place; this is the way I work.
'Once I was bedded in and people understood, I became a little more democratic, more educational. But after Palace, I’m thinking “Right, I need to become autocratic again.”
'I've provided even more clarity, been more concise in the ways of working.'
Incredible that how much he was carried by Suarez last season. All the goals are obviously gone but Liverpool look absolutely woeful attacking these days. Such an huge opposite from last season where they absolutely annihilated teams in the first quarter of the match.
He's going down the Moyes route of trying to make performances sound better then they were and hoping for 'luck'.
Listening to him is like reliving Moyes all over from last season.
King Midas has lost his touch. Well, nothing else explains why he bought Balotelli other than he actually felt he could've turned the Italian into a Cantone-esque signing. What a failure he's been in the transfer market.
He didn't actually say that did he?Good Lord.........
He didn't actually say that did he?
What the hell does that even mean?
He probably could cope without just Suarez. The problem is we can't cope without Sturridge too.
If your team is struggling to cope due to an injury to one player then its poor management as simple as that.
Depends what player. If Messi or Ronaldo get injured they're irreplaceable regardless of management.
He's always spoken like this. It's just now that he's struggling United supporters are trying to compare everything he does or says to Moyes.
Liverpool fans suggest that things will be different when Sturridge comes back.
Completely ignoring the fact that the defence is their major issue
Hasn't been the past few games.
Dodgy against Leicester, awful against Palace...I beg to differ.
Either way, you will show up next week and play like Madrid, as always, and get your win.
Depends what player. If Messi or Ronaldo get injured they're irreplaceable regardless of management.
Whilst that is true, I don't think anyone would describe either side as a one man team.
I'd describe Barcelona as a one man team.
Who just brought Scousepool's one man.
Losing a player like him plays a huge role but he's replaced him absolutely poorly. Not even referring to the dip in quality but just the dip in style.
Pool absolutely slaughtered team because of their pace and movement. Superb quick incisive football. When he lost Suarez, he should have replaced him with players who played the same way. He went on to get Labert and Balotelli meaning he didnt just lose quality, he fecked the very style which made them so lethal.
I would also argue Redondo pisses on him too tbh
Brentan Rodgers said:"It is an opportunity for the players to qualify and make sure they write themselves into folklore by winning the game and making sure they get into the next round."
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29363537
Definition of 'folklore': "the traditional beliefs, customs, and stories of a community, passed through the generations by word of mouth."
I can imagine it, 6 generations from now Liverpool fans will speak of how their great great great white bearded granddad was at Anfield to witness the legendary Maestro Rodgers with his fake tan and heavenly white teeth lead Liverpool to glory against all odds taking down the mighty FC Basle of Switzerland as Liverpool progressed into the last 16 of the champions league. They too will pass this legend on to their children and they on to their children for as long as they live, legend has it that night Maestro Rodgers retired to his rented apartment and slept well for supreme captain Kim Jong-Gerrard rewarded his loyal tenant with a tempur mattress.
Will they sack him if they fail to win tonight? 6 wins out of 15 this season and out in the group stage, his tenure may come to a halt.
Lets hope 'drop' into the Europa League, because they'll believe they can win it and qualify for the CL that way.
TBF, we spout that bullshit last season with Moyes in charge... thinking that getting into Europa and winning it as easy peasy way to get into CL
Good Lord.........
I never said that myself. Anyone thinking that the EL is a soft touch is delusional (read Scouser), Benitez did it to prove a point and fair play to him.
Yeah that would be perfect. Most likely Real will win their home game and Pool will more likely be third(if they fail to win).Lets hope 'drop' into the Europa League, because they'll believe they can win it and qualify for the CL that way.
I'd describe Barcelona as a one man team.
Barcelona one man team??
Deary me...
Messi is responsible for their entire attacking and playmaking play. If he doesn't show up they create nothing.
