It doesn't matter who you pick. Can, Lucas, Moreno, Toure etc are the alternatives.

He's done everything wrong this year. I can't think of a single wise decision he's made.
Gerrard is done. Even last season he was a major liability and reason why Liverpool conceded so many goals. With no Suarez or Sturridge to score 2+ every week they're in massive trouble. I'm looking forward to him getting a new long term contract.
The guy is getting found out for the fraud he is.

Worst player in the premiership at the moment mate. He is and has been a liability this season. Name me one prem team that would play him in that position. No one, even for free. Sad but true.

I like his philosophy but his blind spots and ultimately cowardice have destroyed his own vision. He has a good system and decent enough players but continues to use the absolute worse ones in the squad.
Brenda is gonna have to plant a few more self portraits around his gaff to raise morale in the Rodgers household.
This to me is what makes it so sweet, after their utter condescension toward United, where almost everyone connected with their club started acting as if this reversal of our respective fortunes was a permanent state of affairs. Their smugness was simply inviting karma like this. Enjoying their spectacular crapness so much.
Gerrard. Lovren. Johnson. Three of the worst players in the prem this season. Toure, Lucas and Can were the obvious choices, not world class but not horrendous like those three either. Doesn't have the balls I'm afraid.

Can't even decide if he's a good manager anymore. How much did Suarez bail them out last season, I never really believed it could all be down to one player but maybe he really did just inspire the others to play at a level that is way above the norm - aswel as striking fear into the oppostion. In all fairness they did produce a stellar perofrmance against Spurs and are clearly missing Sturridge so deserves atleast until the end of the season.

Woah mate, chill it. Get a breather or something for a while and let this game past. First statement was alright. The rest of that bit has breached into RAWK meltdown's delusion level. It's a good laugh for the rest of us though.I have always rated Lucas more than Gerrard in the deeper role. He has always done well playing against us. Lovren cant be dropped as he cost a fair whack and Johnson is pants i agree with you on that one.
Fraud of the ilk of Keegan or Evans or any other gung-ho all out attack run of the mill manager. Except unlike most of his ilk he had the luck of inheriting one of the world's most talented players to spearhead his gung-ho style.
The smugness of the man and literally every pool fan I know makes this thread so much more enjoyable.
I honestly think he will be sacked as soon as they are knocked out of the champions league.

It was their sheer arrogance and smugness last season that is making this very very enjoyable indeed.
