Managerial sound bites will always be comedy gold for rival supporters though. We only notice Liverpool ones more than others, apart from Ian Holloway - his were usually motd highlights for me.
Yes, but Holloway knew he was being funny, Brenton thinks he is imparting words of genius and just ends up being an amusing parody.Managerial sound bites will always be comedy gold for rival supporters though. Mostly rival fans - specifically United fans. Which is probably healthy, all things considered. He also annoys people with the comments he makes in the media. That sums it up quite well though.
Yeah, but Moyes took the champions of England to a 7th place finish and 20 points below Rodger's Liverpool. While Rodgers stepped up when appointed to a big club, Moyes floundered and sank.Which is what they said about Moyes
Which kind of begs the question as to your regular appearance in any Liverpool-related thread. Kind of odd behaviour given Liverpool's apparent diminutive stature, no?Rodgers hasn't been appointed to a big club. Yet.

Fair enough. More of an indulgence on my behalf than a bite though. How can you bite at that!
Scousers eh?
Rossi jog on what difference does it make if he's Irish British or bloody Japanese?
Has Murray ever been declared English by the media?Nowt. . But i don't like how once someone has a bit of success, the media start claiming they are English or something.
The Andy Murray thing is a prime example

Let me guess, PickledDick is posting in here again?feck's sake, you're regularly posting on a United forum and you have the bollocks to have a got at someone just because they post in Liverpool related threads?
The locals are too polite to you dippers, you think you run the place...
What's that got to do with the point I was making?feck's sake, you're regularly posting on a United forum and you have the bollocks to have a got at someone just because they post in Liverpool related threads?

What exactly was the point you were making ?What's that got to do with the point I was making?
If there's one thing you should *always* do as a football analyst, it's judge managers, players and teams based on a single game early in the season. So here goes.
Rodgers completely lucked out at Liverpool by inheriting Suarez and Sterling, and having Sturridge brought to the club allegedly against his wishes.
Those three, primarily driven by the world class performances of Suarez, went on to perform a devastating attacking trio that almost fired Liverpool to a league title.
But with the loss of third-best-player-in-the-world Suarez, they are nowhere *near* as good, and plenty of Rodgers' own big money signings - Borini, Allen, Lallana, Aspas - have been questionable at best.
And so consequently, this season they may well find themselves sinking back to whence they came.
Looked like he had no plan b again today.

Too early to make that call. By that way judgement if you view us against MK Dons we'd be nailed on for relegation.
The notion of a plan b has to be one of the most stupid things in English football.
Yet so did gerrard, and your title challenge.Yeah, but Moyes took the champions of England to a 7th place finish and 20 points below Rodger's Liverpool. While Rodgers stepped up when appointed to a big club, Moyes floundered and sank.

Worth mentioning that he actually tried to loan out Henderson and Sterling last summer but the move didn't materialise.

They've a CL game Tuesday. No Sturridge so rested Sterling. Makes sense really.

His decision to rest Sterling for Ludo somebody. Over confidence?

It's against Ludogorets. I'd expect our youth team to be able to beat them.
Whatever it was, it was a baffling decision.
Fergie used to rest players for CL games like the one you have. Aston villa was the bigger game IMOWhatever it was, it was a baffling decision.
