Television Breaking Bad

I really hope we won't see a predictable gun battle between W.W (and possibly Jess) vs The Nazis. Well I don't need to hope for it because the writers will wanna finish the show a lot better than that. W.W has never been a pro of guns and I just don't see taking on a group of criminals that directly.

The cast along with Vince Gilligan was on Conan last night. Apparently the whole show was dedicated to Breaking Bad. Will have to check it out.

I saw Aaron Paul tweet about that.

Any idea where I might be able to watch it online?

He does have an arsenal of guns in the flashforward

You can usually watch it on the official Conan website or any of the usual unofficial sources. It's still a too early though, hopefully it'll be up in a few hours.

So, adding a little controversy into the mix, has the Jesse character been wasted in these last 8 episodes?

I'd be really surprised if that happened. I trust the writers not to be that silly. Walt wouldn't even know how to handle a gun like that. He might hire a bunch of hitmen to team up with (he asked Saul), but I don't like the sound of that either. I'm sure it'll be something far more clever that none of us saw coming.

He'll team up with Badger and Skinny Pete and take down the Nazis!

Episode 14 felt like it could easily have been the end. A few mild tweaks to heighten the drama a bit and it could have been quite a good ending. Episode 15 felt pretty pointless to be honest, I dont see what theyre building towards but itll have to be good to justify it. If what Kouroux suggests does turn out to be the case itll be extremely disappointing.

Yes.

Its had its moments, particularly ep 14 which I thought was excellent, but on the whole this half series has been poor by the show's usual standards. And Jesse is a prime example of that.

Poor?

I'd say one of the early scenes in the finale will show him actually buying the gun.

Anyway, looking back, I doubt Elliot and Gretchen will have any real involvement in the finale. I think their initial dismissal of him was just a catalyst to make him really pissed off, and as soon as he found out his blue meth was back, which meant the Nazi's kept Jesse alive and disobeyed his order, as well as his proudest product being created without him, that's what made him want to truly go and kill all the feckers again. The ricin though? feck knows.

Elliot and Gretchen are like the initial cancer in Walt's life. If it wasn't for them Walt would already have his empire.

True, still, if he'd just taken their money, none of this shit would ever have happened. Pride fecked him over in the end.

The Jesse character hasn't been wasted in the slightest.....and SHOULD come full circle next episode, let things settle before questioning whether they've wasted anything. I think this episode was outstanding, only behind The Sopranos in a penultimate episode, which isn't bad considering the Sopranos is still the best at everything.

He has been wasted a bit. I actually found it funny when Jack said "does he always cry?" because it's felt like that's all he's actually done this whole season.

Presumably, Heisenberg will feck them over. He might just take that m60 to gray matter, use the ricin on Lydia and Jesse might somehow sort the Nazis.

I'll be annoyed if that's what happens. They're really only bit part characters who in the early days spurred him on to start cooking and build his empire. They haven't really been in it for three seasons so for his whole rampage to suddenly be about them would be a bit silly. I think he's definitely going for the Nazi's with the m60, he'll probably see what they've done to Jesse, free him, Jesse kills Todd etc.

It's the ricin I'm not sure about, could be for anyone.

Yeah, I don't think that is how it will happen at all, it'd be outlandish. The m60 has to be for the Nazis, the ricin is the unknown quantity. Jesse might end up taking it, that'd be a frame narrative in one respect I guess. This show is all about the framed narrative, hence the real reason for Gretchen and Elliot in the last episode, to spur him on again as you say.

Maybe the ricin is for Walt Jr, it causes diorrhea right? Maybe he just wants to get all that fecking cereal out of his bowels at last.

Yeah, because he's been absolutely and utterly broken down to the point where Walt at some point in the next episode should reverse on wanting him dead for being a loose cannon(and yeah wanting him dead/caught at any cost also) and just letting him be, realising he's not really for this big kingpin drug world, he's smalltime. I don't even know what he has to live after he kills Walt.....he must've put himself in the shit too, killing Walt isn't going to randomly make him a free man or make his jail sentence less than like 20 years.

Should be noted, I can't sell them killing Walt and Jesse, just musing.

Yeah but I'm not sure (he could learned to use them guns during the 8 months break tbh) gunning people down is what corresponds to his "style" the most. I think the big gun was there for visual effect and to makes the viewers ask themselves hundreds of questions.

Can't see who killing them? The writers? Nazi's?

Walt definitely has to die.

Flynn spikes his cereal with the ricin, gives it to Jesse, Jesse dies. The end.

The ricin and the M60 are both for Bogdan. feck those eyebrows.

Well both. Theres genuinely no point to the Nazis killing either main character in the slightest since Jesse has to be alive to force Walt to feel sympathy for him. Some speech about how he's just a pretty smalltime kid just in the wrong place wrong time etc etc, all his terrible deeds weren't really his fault, he was egged on, mostly by me(Walt)........you go, do what you can, ill hand myself in to distract them from looking for you since I'm dying anyway.......Jesse kills him....or something.....or more likely, completely and utterly different while keeping the point intact -_-

So funny seeing Jesse on the bucket. Guarantee you there were a few accidents during that scene. He did well to get up

So Kouroux will be disappointed if Walt tries to gun down the Nazis, Cina will be disappointed if Walt goes after Gretchen and Elliot. Anyone else want to chip in? I think we can cover every angle.

It'll be interesting to see the situation with Jesse and the Nazi's now, whether he's still in the hole. I assume 2-3 months have passed now since Andrea got shot down.
