Television Breaking Bad

Cheers amol. Quick nahealei, play To The Moon! It'll only take you four hours and no-one will know any different. Then come back here and say that's why you've been holding Breaking Bad to such a high standard.

If you're after an incredible story in any medium....that. Seriously. You will absolutely love it.

It made me cry :(

It made me cry :(

Same! I honestly think anyone who isn't at least strongly moved when playing that seriously has to be some sort of serial killer or something. It's just the most beautiful
love story
...ever. I literally can't think of anything that comes close.

*Just realised I should probably blank that bit out. It's actually a massive spoiler.

I can't wait for this episode to come out so that I can battle with Nahealai for the affection of Mockney and Mike as the cafs up and coming online tv critic.

Aww look at cheesy trying to make himself look intelligent. It's a forum, not the Oxford debating society, speak normally child.

I think you missed my point mate...

It seemed the only point you were making was to make yourself seem more intelligent than you are by mocking somebody you perceive to be an easy target.

I can guarantee you you're wrong on that. The reason it gets tiresome to read your criticism is because it comes across as a "look at me guys, I'm a tv expert, I can analyse the writing of this show to a microscopic degree because I'm so perceptive and analytical and know what great writing is all about" moment almost every time. And it almost seems like you're doing it so you can "fit in" with your good pals Mockers and Mike.

I'm not sure if anyone else agrees with me but I find it very amusing that Mockney pretty much popularised the trend of critically analysing tv shows on this forum. The entertainment forum is flooded with that kind of stuff whereas when I was first on here - which is a few years after the forum was established - it was a very small aspect of the forum. Not that it's a bad thing...it's just amusing.

To be fair Brwned, the second part of your post sounds a bit "Look at me guys, I am better than all you Mockney apostles" to me. ;) A little, at least.

Anyways, not long now... Tell myself every week I won't stay up but it's happening again.

So....

Seems Walter's finally broken bad. Hank's death has pushed him over the line there.

I reckon Jesse will escape and kill Skyler/Jr. [

Good episode. Could have been better though; still got no idea what's going to happen in the last two.

I'm guessing Walt is on a mission to get the Nazis now. Haven't a clue what will happen to Jesse though, looks like he's going to be some kind of meth cook slave.

Hmm that end bit was interesting. Not sure if he was genuinely telling Skyler off, or trying to get her out of trouble with the police (by making out he'd forced her into his empire - he'd have known they were listening) and thus making her realise how selfless Walt actually is. Yeah, I guess that's what it was.

Also thought he was going to kill Holly for second

I can't believe how quickly that went. feck me...the standard of acting during that phone call. Bryan Cranston really is incredible.

Absolutely amazing from both of them. The phone call was so good. Just watched it again. Skyler realising what Walt was doing, "I'm sorry". And Walt crying.

What an episode. Take back my complaints about the last ep's ending anyway, Hank's death was a massive holy shit moment. Walt telling Jesse about Jane, the fight with the knife, Walt taking Holly, Marie's arse.. it was brilliant.

Btw, Todd is one of the weirdest and most fascinating characters on tv. The way he said "sorry for your loss" to Walt  I just laughed.

Amazing episode. Can't believe they actually killed Hank :( Probably my favourite character in the show. Definitely think Jesse will somehow escape though, as right now they're keeping him alive to cook meth.
Walt showed his good and bad sides there. He showed how much of a cnut he was with Jesse, but then he showed that he cares about his family during the phone call. At first I thought during the phone call Walt was trying to screw Skylar over by making the police know she helped him hide him being a drug dealer, but then it was obvious he was actually helping her.
Oh and feck "flynn". He's just so annoying.
Hard to predict what will happen in the last two episodes though.

Weird episode, a lot to take in.

I'm glad Gomez and Hank died, anything else would've been a cop out. I was a bit worried when I saw Hank had somehow come out of that gunfight with just a clipped leg, thank god Uncle Jack is nice and ruthless.

Walt was some spiteful bastard selling out Jesse and telling him about Jane. I thought Hank's death would make him realise he couldn't go through with killing Jesse, he went totally the other direction. Always wondered how they'd bring up the Jane thing again, didn't see Walt admitting to it though.

Why was Flynn focusing on Skylar's lies instead of the whole meth empire thing?

Marie was looking well.

One of the all time best television episodes

This.

Just saw it. fecking hell, Vince Gilligan is a genius. Nehalai wasn't far off with his praise earlier. He clearly wasnt wumming and had stepped into the future and seen something incredible before everyone else.

How was Walt helping her?? By saying that she was always against his actions? At the moment I actually thought he was bullying her into playing the obedient wife again, but your take makes more sense given I think Walt would have known about the cops listening in

Also why is noone bothering with spoilers anymore?
