Television Breaking Bad

One thing's for sure nahealai, we're hugely grateful to have you critically analyse the intricacies of tv shows in such great detail. Your insight is invaluable.

It was obvious as feck that KingEric7 was being a little sarcastic. There are some lads here far too sensitive. It makes critical analysis of the show and its intricacies nigh-on impossible at times.

Standard Cider. So much aggression behind almost every post. I sent him a link via PM the other day for Breaking Bad in HD on Putlocker after that discussion in this thread, only to get the most twattish response in reply. I get the impression if I ever did send him a photo he'd spent day and night chucking darts at it before dousing it in kerosene and setting it alight.

Edit: You're still a bastard for that wind up, by the way. ;) I was planning the night out and everything...

I have him blocked. You should try it. It's as good as not having him on the forum

You still crying about your self induced hissy fit regarding your precious singing voice which I didn't comment on?

Why don't you PM me another long, patronising and wholly inaccurate psychoanalysis? You know how I love those.

P.S.
I know you clicked to read this.

I used to but I think the forum switch must've undone it. There are moments of gold you miss out on, though. There was an argument in the PS4 thread not long ago that was so immature you'd think it was a 12 year old driving it. It was genuinely so stupid.

About 3:20 AM UK time if you Twitter/Google it. :)

*three by the way, Kinky. Three hours of absolute madness, surely.

He really did that  ? I love your P.S cider

Three episodes left, with the (according to Gilligan himself) "best of the series" to come next in 'Ozymandias'.

I'm looking forward to this tomorrow night now, I must say.

I really can't take you seriously after Prison Break.

Where has this 'Prison Break' talk come from, man?! That's the third time you've mentioned it now!

I watched the first two series way back when it aired, but left it there then as it just got ridiculous... and I was an impressionable teenager at the time!

I reckon Walt Jr is going to find out about his father in tomorrow's episode. Just got a feeling.

You could be right, man. That is the biggest reveal left in the show, for me. Others are clamouring for Jesse to know the truth about Jane, but
Walt Jr. finding out about his father is/was a drug lord
is far more important, in my opinion.

Also, I read a few weeks back that one of the writers of the show revealed in an interview that
Walt is going to commit an act so terrible that no viewer will remain on his side.
I'm assuming that this act hasn't happened yet.

Another "leave-your-brain-at-the-door" viewer, then?

"In episode 2F09 when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder."

I'm actually not too sure of what that act will be myself.

For a while I thought he'd have killed Skyler, but I'd be surprised if he did now. That's not really being built up at all to happen and unless it is within the next episode or two, then it would probably come across as a bit too abrupt.

Killing Jesse or Hank would be another option, but again those who are already on his side aren't exactly going to hate him for that, because it's exactly what they want him to do at the moment as long as Jesse and Hank both pose a threat to him.

Don't be daft, mate.

It seems that the only people here that take any issue with any criticism, no matter how minor, aimed at the show are the ones who proclaim it to be the best show of all-time. They are the ones hailing the writing, the direction, the settings, the wardrobes etc., but when a miniscule criticism is offered, it's never accepted, only petty personal attacks on the people offering these critiques.

I don't know how many times I have to say that I love the show and would rank it in my top 3 television shows that I've seen, but that doesn't mean we can't question segments of it. It appears I'm being fingered for suggesting the pace of this series doesn't fit with the pace of the other 5.5 series to date, and thus questioning how some characters are coming to bold conclusion, yet many others here have made the exact same points.

It's more that you focus a lot more on criticisms than just enjoying it. The first thing you do after an episode is point out every flaw you noticed.

It is odd that you're so critical of a show this good, over and over and over again, when tripe like Dexter is also aired. Just enjoy one of the best dramas you'll ever see and stop fecking moaning in this thread, clearly nobody wants to hear it.

Makes sense considering the look Walt's neighbour gives him in the flash forward scene.

I reckon he kills Skyler and Walt Jr. [ /spoiler]

 that's nahelai in a nutshell alright.

I can guarantee you you're wrong on that. The reason it gets tiresome to read your criticism is because it comes across as a "look at me guys, I'm a tv expert, I can analyse the writing of this show to a microscopic degree because I'm so perceptive and analytical and know what great writing is all about" moment almost every time. And it almost seems like you're doing it so you can "fit in" with your good pals Mockers and Mike.
Mockers and Mike both agreeing with me? I can settle for that.
I'm not sure if anyone else agrees with me but I find it very amusing that Mockney pretty much popularised the trend of critically analysing tv shows on this forum. The entertainment forum is flooded with that kind of stuff whereas when I was first on here - which is a few years after the forum was established - it was a very small aspect of the forum. Not that it's a bad thing...it's just amusing.

I'm scared to read any of the posts in this thread but is it true ep14 has been leaked online? If someone could PM me an answer or even better a good download or stream link it'd be much appreciated.

Kingeric7 has great taste in gaming so I like him.

Well feck you too, amol.

Cheers amol. Quick nahealei, play To The Moon! It'll only take you four hours and no-one will know any different. Then come back here and say that's why you've been holding Breaking Bad to such a high standard.

If you're after an incredible story in any medium....that. Seriously. You will absolutely love it.

I can tell you now that that was/is never my intention, and I apologise if it was/is coming across like that. However, as you're judging from the other side of the fence, and coming from a different bias, it's easy to see why you'd take issue with how my posts look.

There's been tonnes of patronising posts in this thread (including some ridiculous ones about posters "not getting" much from the show if their favourite character is X). In all of the points I've raised, I've never spoke in an condescending manner so the notion that I think I am superior to others when analysing the show is preposterous, frankly.

The point about Mockney and Mike is also bizarre. You make out like I'm some sort of lovestruck teenager vying for their love and affection. How absurd. The only reason I mentioned them that time was because they were others to highlight the same perceived discrepancies as I did.

Also, how would I know what Mockney has or hasn't popularised on this forum over the years seeing as I've only been posting here for twelve months. I don't see the correlation.

Nahealai don't apologise to these bastards. Be your own man. Cina telling someone not to complain about something is hilarious considering he hates everything.

I'm wet for Ozymandias.

It's directed by Rian Johnson. He wrote and directed 'Brick', love that film.

Elvis, difference here is I was right all along about Dexter turning to shit where as he's criticizing a show that is great, so go away with your terrible taste in terrible TV you little bitch.
