Television Breaking Bad

It was pretty obvious it was a joke when Nahelai was giving an episode of Breaking Bad unrelenting praise.

He's still reeling about getting completely obliterated by Walt in his garage.

I wonder how long it takes someone to complain about unspoilered speculation. What a shit rule.

Yeah I don't get it really, I mean its not like any of us are ITK. But rules be rules.

Maybe we should start spoilering our predictions in the match day threads, I mean we're as likely to guess the scores as we are about what will happen in these shows.

The rule came about because people were being twats in the GoT thread.

In that thread you've obviously got a bunch of people that have read the books so you can understand why it was banned. Likewise people don't necessarily want to see previews for the next episode discussed either.

It doesn't work here because BB is a show that encourages speculation about future events, which is why they include flash forward scenes such as the diner/m60 bit at the start of this season (does that mean we can or can't talk about it?).

Like I said, if it was applied with anality in this thread there would be half as many posts as there currently is. Thankfully common sense has prevailed.

There was a particular season of Dexter which basically hinged on a "plot twist". Problem was lots of people on the Caf and internet guessed that twist pretty early on. It was one of those things where once you read the theory, you just knew it was correct. I think lots of people predicted the whole Brock wasn't poisoned by Gus thing pretty quickly as well. In cases like this the rule makes sense.

Yeah, I guess it would make sense for GoT but not sure it should be such a problem here because your guess in what happens next is about as good as mine.

Wouldn't it be funny if
Gray Matter own Madrigal?

Walt would probably commit suicide knowing that his empire was only a subsidiary to the company he helped found but walked away from.

Do people think Walt will tell Jesse about his involvement in Jane's death?

Up until the last 10 minutes of the previous episode I didn't think he would as he has no reason to, but now I think he hates Jesse as much as Jesse hates him and will want revenge on the scheming little coward, presuming they both make it out of the desert.

I forgot about Magrigal, I thought they were going to crop up again but I guess theres not enough time.

You mean Grey Matter? Madrigal is who Lydia works for so they sort of are cropping up...

Yep. I've always thought he would. Like you say it'll either be out of spite or it will be a final chance to get it off his chest. We saw from the fly episode that it clearly plays on his mind. For me it was also the point when he officially crossed over the line. It has to be resolved.

This is how it ends.

Quick question: Why does the character of Huell get so much love? I'm not trying to be awkward or different, but I genuinely do not get the hype about him. This thread, and loads of other fora I frequent, wax lyrically about him, even if he's not had a word to say all episode.

I just find it bizarre. Bill Burr's character is so much better, for me.

Huell gets hype ??

Yeah, as in every minor scene he's in ends up with the usual "Huell " -type posts here. I've seen it on other sites as well.

The scene where he and Kuby laid on Walt's money in the warehouse and Huell said something like, "Mexico... all's I'm saying" was a great example. Nothing particularly exciting or humorous, but it sent lightning rods down some lads' shafts apparently.

Odd.

Heull is fun, hence why he gets so much love.

Speaking of Heull: He's still in the safehouse, I wonder if that'll be significant going forward and if the DEA chase him up after Hank and Gomez potential deaths.

Makes you think...if he wasn't massive and didn't have an oddly shaped head, would he still be such a cult figure amongst fans? If not, then why not? Does he evoke positive reactions in people because they feel better about themselves whilst watching him? Or are people so homed in on his appearance that they patronisingly blow every little thing he does completely out of proportion? As if merely speaking is some sort of great and joyful triumph over having that shape of head...

Some deep psychological shit going on with Huell fans, whatever it is. These people are probably the same people with misogynistic/spastic hating complexes that lay into Skyler and Walt Junior. Wankers.

I hope you didn't think all that but I guess you probably did seeing as you made the effort to type it. And now I've read it and thought about it myself to some extent.

There are no winners here.

I think KingEric7 needs to post a picture of himself. Some deep psychological shit going on with this nobhead.

He's obviously comparable to Huell in appearance and yet resents the fact that his on-screen lookalike is popular on account of his likeable personality in contrast to KE7's own gormlessly irritating posh-kid disposition.

I'm trying to work out whether you lot are being serious. Huell's alright. I think the oddly shaped head and size thing probably does play some part in his cult status but he's an amusing character in his own right. Reasonably, at least. lol1!

It was obvious as feck that KingEric7 was being a little sarcastic. There are some lads here far too sensitive. It makes critical analysis of the show and its intricacies nigh-on impossible at times.
