Television Breaking Bad

Well yeah, but you didn't call anyone an extremely derogatory term related to their gender or ethnicity. Instead you called the disabled kid a "spastic" whilst declaring your hatred for him and then acted surprised and dismissive when it didn't go down well.
Another knight in shining armour... the "disabled kid" happens to be one of the most annoying characters I've seen in a long time. And I didn't even know he was disabled in real life ffs.

I'm sure in real life he's a great guy but his character in the show makes me want to strangle puppies.

Do you really think I have something against disabled people or do you just want to join a witch hunt? Jesus Christ...

Walt Jr dont give a feck about your opinion guys (pro-death or anti-death)... he is driving his mustang and having big time pus** as we speak.

why so serious? His character is annoying, but has noting to do with his condition. He is acting...

Anyway, the only one who deserves to die is Jesse, for being a stupid junkie and blind as feck.

Vato, read your post again, you'll get why people have an issue with.

No ones going to like you saying "hope he gets sick of his sons spasticated face" when it's used with respect to someone with disability.

Just move on man.

It doesn't even matter if he's disabled in real life or not and I'm not even that bothered about what you said. It was a stupid comment, I'm just explaining that if you describe someone as a spastic and then say how badly you want them to die, some people will take that the wrong way. It's not like you were even remotely apologetic once you found out the actor actually suffered from the same condition, someone rightly pointed out that you were coming across as a dick.

I reckon I've seen 1000 more offensive posts on here than Vato's that have been laughed at or taken with a pinch of salt or just ignored. This reaction is embarrassing frankly.

Well, I guess you're right.

I sincerely apologise to anyone I've offended with that comment, bad wording on my part. Guess I'll have to weigh my words better in the future.

But anyone thinking I have something against disabled people is not in their right mind. Tact isn't my strongest quality though, I'll give you that.

So, again. Sorry.

I can't stand Walt Junior to the point where I enjoy the show less when he's in a scene. The reason for that isn't because he's disabled (I wasn't aware he was in RL) it's because he's a shit annoying character who ruins scenes.

Deep down you actually hate him. I can't wait until it all clicks and you're like yeah, feck that guy.

What the hell is going on in here?

I post a humorous video featuring Bryan Cranston and an interesting piece on some alternative storylines that were ditched and then come back and everyone is hating on the disabled.

Wow - surprised by the Walt Jr hate

Sure he is an annoying teenager but he enhances the story as Walt and Skylar keep the truth for him - the show needs him to reflect the diversity of Walt

Dedicated father and family man as well as drug lord lol

The Sopranos needed Meadow or Anthony Jr

Glad to have finally caught up - have been avoiding spoilers for weeks

This thread has taken a weird turn, Walter Junior does nothing to me, I don't like nor hate the character. I find him funny tbh with all the cereal eating and how clueless he is with what goes on around him. I'm sure the baby Holly knows more than him.
It has got to do with his disability to not like him but people should be careful with the words they use when they wanna vent about this or that character. I'm sure Vato didn't mean to insult the actor, just the character.
It's like me when I say that Skyler used to be an annoying bitch (she isn't anymore tbh), it doesn't mean I hate the actress and consider her to be one.

It's his constant gobbing and crying combined with his smug punchable face that makes me dislike him. If his role wasn't that of a disabled person I'd still hate him, it has nothing to do with his disability.

If this is genuinely the case then the worst he's done is used a very derogatory term regarding the disabled (much like, ahem, 'Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime', perhaps?), he's not knowingly directed an insult at a properly disabled person, but a disabled, fictional TV character.

It is genuinely the case but thinking about it, it doesn't make it much better.

Still, others better not call me a spastic on here for a while, or I'll get Kinks on their ass.

I have absolutely no issue with Walt Jr at all. Anyone who does is obviously secretly Glenn Hoddle.

Yeah I find the hate weird too. He isn't even that whiny or annoying either really.

you should have said '...anyone thinking I have something against disabled people is clearly a fecking spastic.....' that would have been hilarious.

course it is

I really enjoyed the scene in the last episode where the nazis were discussing how purity and colour doesnt matter.

They don't have to try very hard! The kid's a retard, and I'm not talking about his disability.

When you want a disabled character, played by a disabled actor, to die with reference to his spastic face I think it is reasonable to think that there is more than a dislike of the character as a plot device at work. Since the originator of the comment has now admitted that the comments were ill-advised and wasn't meant to be aimed at disabled people, real and/or fictional, I think we can move on without the need for further comment or warnings/infractions. This time.

AMC and Sony Pictures Television confirmed today that they have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff of Vince Gilligan’s landmark AMC/SPT seriesBreaking Bad. As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title Better Call Saul. Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.

Glad its only 1 hour, although Saul is a great character a full series based on him could have been a bit much.
