Television Breaking Bad

I have no regrets, Flynn can get fecked.

And for the record sunshine, you're not a character from the show. You should learn to draw the line between fiction and reality rather than immerse yourself so deeply into something that you convince yourself you're some sort of nonchalant gangster.

It's not real. You're a twat.

Simple

Let me get this straight, I thought there was some in-joke I was missing at first. Do some of you actually want Flynn to die because of his disability?

feck knows man, but Vato1979 has clearly set his camp up on the issue, which is really deranged. Lets see how he backtracks

 Because I hate a tv character?! That's beyond ridiculous mate..

Don't try and turn this on me, as if I misinterpreted your post. It was pretty obnoxious, and not one I've seen on here in a long time. I dunno, go talk to someone. I'd be embarrassed to post something like that, yet you come back like a whipped dog trying to turn it around. Your best bet would be to delete the post and get outside for a bit

What the feck are you on about, man? Did you miss the post where I said whoops? It seems to me you're just trying to cause some drama here...

You also said "I have no regrets, Flynn can get fecked".

It does seem you're taking the piss out of somebody with a disability.

My history on here would show that that's not what I am about. In fact this is the first post I have ever reported. Your Whoops? was soaked in sarcasm as if to say "Am I supposed to be apologetic about my post", and my opinion is supported by your follow up post after that point.

Just leave it. I've said my say.

Absolutely. And Solius, you know me fine well on here. I don't think I have ever reported somebody, but there is a certain standard you'd expect on a forum that has grown as successfully as the RedCafe, and I'm not going to come on here and expect to have to read such bullshit.

No Drama Vato, just don't be a cnut. It's all very basic here.

Yeah I agree with you. He says 'spastic face' followed by 'whoops?' with a question mark.

I said whoops because I didn't know he had a disability, then he proceeded to call me a "complete dick" in his reply to that. Should I just have turned the other cheek?

FWIW, he has cerebral palsy in real life to an extent, but no crutches or real speech impediment. I got the impression he was purely referring to the character, the character we all take the piss out of and post comics about. Doesn't seem that bad.

The whoops sounded disingenuous because of the question mark.

...and so the expected backtracking commences.

Anyways, I'm off to play Assassins Creed I
Let's cut to the chase here, are you trying to say I hate disabled people? What do you think I am?

But hell ok, if I offended anyone with a disability I apologise. Breaking Bad, serious business...

In what way? That's the bit I don't quite understand. I haven't been reading this thread for that long but I notced Irwin (I think) say how much he wants Flynn to die and I just don't get why.

Cereal eating, the way he talks, how useless he is etc.

Not that I want Walt Jr. to die, but maybe the hate stems from the fact that all the character does is eat breakfast and be completely oblivious to what's going on around him.

Taking the whole disability thing out of it, I don't get why people hate Walt Jr/Flynn so much? I think he's a good, likable character. I mean, I like my breakfast too and I'd hope people wouldn't want me to die because of that. Skyler I kind of understand disliking, but I really don't see what Walt Jr's done in the show to deserve this hate?

I think there's some ignorance playing a part here. Some people don't realise his facial expressions and way of talking are directly linked to him having cerebral palsy. He sounds and looks the same as his character in interviews. Not cool hating him because of that.

I still hate the character though cause he's irritating, useless and clueless.

There's a big difference between making fun of his character for always eating breakfast and making fun of his characters disability (as would be the case of making fun of him for the way he speaks). Even if he didn't have cerebral palsy in real life, it'd still be wrong.

Frankly I always find it bizarre people hate him in the first place.

Why? His voice is genuinely annoying. He sounds like a depressed bumblebee.
I agree, he also has a really punchable face, which doesn't really help either. But hey, I guess I hate every disabled person because of that.

I don't like Skyler or Marie either, am I a sexist bigot too? Good thing I liked Gus and Tuco...

I like Walt Jr, he has been there from the start and was important in the development of his "father" Walts character as the "family man" whom we all felt sorry for when he was diagnosed with cancer. I love the fact that he still hasn't got a clue about his father's alter-ego, Heisenberg, it shows that you can be incredibly close to someone yet not have a clue who they really are. Don't understand some of the hatred people seem to have towards him either, saw him interviewed a few times and he comes across as a lovely person, certainly hope he's not hated because of his disability. You'd wanna be a right Nazi to hate him because of that.

Well yeah, but you didn't call anyone an extremely derogatory term related to their gender or ethnicity. Instead you called the disabled kid a "spastic" whilst declaring your hatred for him and then acted surprised and dismissive when it didn't go down well.

Yeah I quite like the character too.
