its real. i saw the interview too. milan bid 20 million euros btw, not pounds..but still more than the 14 million quid we went to.

wish we had pulled out all the stops and matched/exceeded milan for the lad.

Interesting! Shame we didnt get him. feck you Glazers, you tight feckers :)

How the feck can he not make the Brazil squad surely that is a major blow for him..

The transfer muppets will self destruct. All their wanktastic players are being left at home.

Balotelli too.

Don't worry, each WC match will give us Transfer Muppets new ones to wank over.

not really. it just means all the muppet targets will not be affected by world cup hikes in their price tags, which could mean they are more attainable, which means it is a more f.a.p-tastic position to be in.

I think people tend to overrate the effect that World Cup will have on those players' potential transfer fees. The likes of Pato, Benzema or Aguero will cost a shitload whether they're there or not. It's relatively unknown players that perform well at the WC and make a name for themselves who will profit the most from this exposure, or should I say the clubs that own them.

Or would the fact said player is deemed not good enough for his national team reduce his value after the world cup?

Obviously Dunga doesn't rate Pato.

Obviously Dunga doesn't rate Pato.

I doubt Dunga's opinion means anything to the club managers. He has got his own priorities, so do they. Ancelotti for example knows much more about Pato because he has coached him at AC Milan and he seems to rate him highly.

Which prevents the transfer fees from getting inflated after a potentially good world cup. Get in!

Pato and his Brazilian wife who is an actress also has just filed for divorce after 9 months of marraige the his bird saying he is a violent nutcase and the final straw was when he apparently smashed up doors and furniture up in their apartment in Milan after not making hte world cup. She is entitled to 15 % of his wages for the rest of her life. Not bad for 9 months work!

Seems like it was!

My dream signing. Comfortably the best young striker in the world.

Not a bad game from Ibrahimovic as well, seemed very involved in the game, two nice assists.

Milan have a fantastic team going forward. If they could improve midfield and defense they would be deadly again.

Barca are going to regret letting Ibra go.

i tend to agree, Villa hasnt quite got himself sorted yet but of course it just takes him to find form and Ibra will be forgotten.

Still he offers something different and they will regret not having that. His first season was a good one, not great and that's how he found himself back in italy. Guardiola makes mistakes imo.

Haven't seen Milan this season. What's their typical lineup now and how do they accommodate Robinho. Ibra, Pato & Ronaldinho....not to mention: Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Flamini and whover else they have now in midfield?

Offer Rooney to Milan if he does not want to stay with us and ask for Pato
