Break the bank for Pato

Here we go. What makes us actually think that even if Milan would sell that Pato would come to us. History shows that it really doesnt happen.

I could actually really See Pato with us, if we were to ever lose Rooney or when Berba retires I think he'd make a great replacement.

WTF? One of the most overrated players in recent years....hope Chelsea buy him

Said it in the Spurs thread - He's my dream signing.

He's always on the cusp of being something special, he has always impressed me though. Milan is the wrong club for him to progress as a player.

He could do with some better service than the rubbish Milan "midfield" gives him. He's going to be a great player. Injuries have ruined his development a bit though.

He lacks a footballing brain, it's just too hard to get away from that fact.

Really? I've only seen him five or six times but that wouldn't be one of my criticisms. He lacks a team, playing with Ibra and Robinho would turn anybody off the game.

Didn't have the best of games... Still needs alot of nuturing on that talent.

I've seen him alot more and it is an issue, it's too much head down, road runner stuff.

He's very very talented but he doesn't use it to great effect alot of the times.

I still think that's a little disingenuous, he does that a fair bit but I wouldn't say because of it he doesn't have a football brain.

He was fantastic the in the derby today. Was always a thorn in inters side, looking to play in his teammates and had two goals. Looked direct, pacey and came up trumps in a big match.

Talks of him going back to Brazil.

Thank god we didn't break the bank for him.

I really thought that he will become the best striker in the world.

Haven't heard from him in a while. He, together with Aguero and Benzema were once in the league of young strikers destined for greatness, the other two have made the step up but he's only regressed. Its really a shame that he's fallen off so badly from grace.

Scored some really memorable goals against the top teams. At his pomp his pace was ridiculous.:wenger:

What exactly happened to him? He became the new Owen Hargreaves?

Mass amount of injuries and it's quite likely he'll never get over them. Milan have no real choice but to sell and no top team should be taking a chance on him now in all honesty. If he could go out to somewhere like Cor and manage to somehow over come his injury problems for about two seasons, then and only then should any large team in Europe be considering a move for him, doubtful either way.

His problem is that he also relied so heavily on his pace. The injuries stopped his growth and it's highly possible that he might never be able to change that.
