Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

They need to be patient. Most sides who go on to win the league will have finished 2nd or 3rd the season before they win it and have looked like winning it at some stage that season.

They are having that season now. They may still win it, but hopefully they won't and we'll get number 20 :)

Imagine the frothing ABU cnuts up and down the country if we win it again with "the worst united side ever ever ever etc"

I agree , City have an excellent team and just need to get rid of some dead wood , they will win the PL , possible not this season , but they are going to be a touch team to beat for a good while

I'm also hoping they go into panic mode if we win it and they fire Mancini and bring in some clueless fecker who ships out loads of players and brings in a load more meaning a few more years of trying to get it right.

They are close now, but you never know, they might go mental.. this is City we're talking about after all. Their mentality is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

In latin this motto would be "prehendo evinco ex jaws of victoria" and would look snazzy on their badge underneath those three fraudulent stars

Love this.

Start a thread with that title when we win the league!

I would say i know 6 city fans- out of that 6 only 1 of them has any brains and sense about football, blue moon rising etc etc, and even he is starting to get a little arrogant now but not enough to tar him with the same brush as the others.

If it had not been for the whole suarez thing i would say they are more deluded and braindead than scousers.

i bet the berties think they've got to where they are the 'right way'.

Some delusional shit going on here.

Why? :(

this guy just knows a lot about football and talks sense and can put rivalry aside when talking football, never once heard him use a derogitary terms towards United. The others i know have all at some point used the term we hate most which i will not repeat.

I am lucky in that i come from a family where not one blood relative is a city fan, everyone supports Utd, my father in law to be is neutral as he is not that into football but pretends to support city to wind me up.

Edit Now i see what you did there

Vertonghen, Albiol, Martinez, Alba, Marin, Reus, Sissoko, Monotolivo, M'Vila, Eriksen, Gaitan, Lavezzi, Llorente, Higuain...

And those are just the ones who stick out

fecking deluded or what.

Interesting that in that article he says the only way he can see City blowing the title now is if they lose three or four players to injury or suspension. So maybe the equivalents of Vidic, Fletcher, Cleverley, Ferdinand, Hernandez, Valencia, Smalling etc, who (along with others), have sat out considerable periods of this season?

I know a good few City fans who are decent to talk to about football and we can have a bit of a dig occasionally but in good nature and they know their stuff. It's always good to talk to any rivals who know their football and their history and out of groups and off the internet that is often the case so long as you don't make a habit of associating with arseholes in general.

Anyway, the writer of this title must be about 15.

"Since the Gibson's reign, United have profited from Shareholders, mainly United's supporters trust and United fans, followed by The Glazer Family which no matter how you look at it or how you spin it. Boils down to one thing and that is, United have profited from £$ millions to gain the glory they achieved since Matt Busby."

I'm not sure if this guy has any qualifications in economics or finance, but that doesn't seem right to me.

We profited from Umbro? The company who's chairman was a director at City in the 40s? The one that supplied City's kits for the best part of 70 years?

We profited from having Matt Busby as a manager? Shameful stuff, we should have hired someone that was not as good just to be fair to the rest of the footballing world.

"...what has seeing Liverpool lift the Carling Cup done to their moral?

Knocked out of the Champions League once again and made to play in the Europa League must be torment for the self proclaimed biggest and most famous club in the world."

Irony lost on this one, eh?

"While being occupied with all things Manchester City, they fail to see the revival of another rival club aka Liverpool who will no doubt be a stronger force in 2012/13."

Yep, he's got a point, they are looking very threatening there in seventh...

Again with the moral champions crap! ;)

 good lord

Bet Fergie is choking into his muesli over this 'revival'.

Yep, Abu Dhabi City certainly is. :D

Incisive and thought-provoking piece from one of the finest young minds to ever emerge from the blue half of Manchester. Not only does he reveal an insight into the economics of football that leaves one simply stunned and amazed, he's such an incredibly gifted writer too.

What I know I fear coming is another dose of cold, hard truths and stinging barbs from the scathing pen of CiTyBlUe. Although I have to say the pain of being so brutally put to the sword was worth it for the wisdom gained from such gems as --

"Money is part and part of sport in this day and age [....] the only reasons for the environment of football being richer are due to the facts that the world is a much richer place"

I knew this moment would come for them. It makes Tevez's return a lot easier for City fans to take. Too little too late now, though. He's already cost them EVERYTHING this season.

I'm having no trouble reading Bluemoon.

It's amazing how many of them have already given up the title after this one match.

There's plenty territory left to cover in this title race. The fat lady hasn't sung yet.

From the first 2 pages.

Mancini OUT.

Stupid team selection & respected Swansea more than Barcelona !

No pace. No width. No zip. No thrust.

No title :-(

fecking shit day, so pissed off. savic is a fecking clown.

mancini gets it wrong away AGAIN.

Totally agree. We were awful today. No pace and all this playing around the box and across the back makes me scream. Today we lost the title. Utd wont let this lead slip and we have even harder games to come.
