Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Yup. It’ll be a cold day in hell before I recognise their treble as legitimate. We remain the only English team to have won the treble legitimately. feck the Bertie cnuts and their Mickey Mouse treble.

Nobody outside of their tiny fanbase will ever recognise it as a ligitimate treble

One for the 80’s reds:

Uuuudogie, oh Maddison,
oh Pape Sarr, oh Blues.
Guardiola is a phoney, a shit Postecoglou.
Thank feck I’m not a blue.

Ederson, Akanji, Haaland, Doku, Gundogan, KDB, too.
I wrote this song for you.
Gvardiol, Kovacic, Foden, Rodri, Paul Dickov, Oscar Bobb, too.

You have to wonder how much the 115 charges case is playing on the Citys players minds. Must be hard to motivate yourself knowing theres a chance your team could get a massive points deduction and/or relegated no matter what you do this season or how well you perform.

Not even that, nobody will remember it. Hell, I was dumbfounded for a second reading these posts until it clicked, that they won it two years ago. I'm struggling to even remember who they played in the CL final or what the score was.

It won't be on their minds at all. They've lost by far their best player in Rodri and a lot of their other best players are getting toward the end of their careers. No team has a right to win everything, football seems to be cyclical and even the best teams don't generally continue to be at their very best after about a decade max.

I could be wrong, but they might have reached the end of their cycle at the very top.

Other teams have to deal with injuries. We had no defence last season. They can’t use Rodri as an excuse for not beating Bournemouth and sporting. If peps the genius everyone thinks then he should be able to cope without him and come up with different ways of winning.

Not saying those aren't major factors behind their recent form. But come on there's absolutely no way most of them won't be thinking about it and what it could potentially mean for their careers at City.

They're coming to the end of their cycle for sure. Haaland won't win a game by himself he needs service.

A city without De Bruyne and Rodri isn't winning much, Gundogan is already over the hill.

Pep leaving in 2 years tops imo won't help much either.

Do you think all the behind the scenes stuff going on at the club is having an impact ? The 115? Or maybe they’re just finally feeling the effect of really important players having injuries (Rhodri)

I honestly have no idea who won what since 12/13, other than the extraordinary Leicester win, and Liverpool, simply because of the sad way in which it was won

Arsenal looked great today with odegaard back pulling the strings. He makes everything happen for them. Rodri is an even better player, he comes out of this smelling even more like one of the all time great PL midfielders.

State owners with sportswashing assisted by desperate fans, years upon years of cheating financially, offshore bank accounts to recruit managers, a decade of media compliance and Guardiola worship, North Korean level propaganda documentaries, banners for lawyers, titles and a champions league, and all it takes for them to show themselves up as the same small club supporters is a bad run of games. I don’t especially care about their losses the same as I didn’t care about their wins beyond the fact that it is all existing under the umbrella of cheating.

Nothing about this club matters other than the punishment. They all know it.

Not if they have to do it legally now, and stay within the financial rules like everyone else.

It's a team in need of a major rebuild and I doubt they have the money to do it.

I'm kinda glad Jose isn't available, I feel like he could make them unbeatable with their infinite money cheat active.
I'm not sure where this fear and admiration of Mourinho comes from. He's has been done at the top level for almost a decade now. Football has moved on from his tactics.

Football fans all over the world are happy that football won, whenever the cheats lose. This gives me that warm cozy feeling inside my heart.

I would love to see Jose there. He would destroy the team and blow up his legacy yet again. The ultimate team killer at this point. Look at the talent he had at united and ended up poisoning the team.At least that was the theme on here at the time.

Their fullbacks are dead food whether it's about defending or attacking. In the 2nd Walker had a cross which went high into the sky and he had no pressure when executing.
That's the sign of a player who is finished and that's not even mentioning what Werner did to him

They were poor but it wasn't that much of a drubbing on the balance of play. Spurs were clinical and their goalkeeper did have a good game.

It looks bad on paper but it's still a bit premature to be writing them off.

Their domination period might come to an end sooner or later, it is bound to happen. Some of their top players are aging or lost some form, they also have important injuries right now.
Also some of the players may have lost the motivation and desire after winning everything possible.
If that's the case, I don't know if Pep has the patience and ambition to rebuild.
What I don't like is the fact that Pool has a clear shot at the title.

If it was Jose managing Spurs, Pep would be taking sabbatical soon. He would bring it up non stop. The man knows how to get under Pep's skin.

People writing them off! Their ‘official’ net spend has been relatively low in recent seasons. I’m expecting a Rodri replacement in January and then they’ll be fine.

That’s the advantage that Pep always had. Any form of injury issues he just bought his way out of it. No other club can do that. He once paid £60m for Laporte, in January, when they had a couple of CB injuries.

What about a Walker and De Bruyne replacement as well?

They’re nowhere near as strong.

Walker has fallen off a cliff
KDB getting older, 33 and injury prone
Gundogan 34
Not convinced their recent signings and current squad are at the level of previous seasons - Nunes, Lewis, Savinho

It’s good to see

I certainly won’t be writing them off as it’s too early in the process however this narrative that they are losing of Rodri is bollocks. They’ve already brought players as backups and there are more problems in the team than the sole reason of Rodri.
