Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Everyday is like Sunday. Anyone remember Sundays being silent and grey? Thesedays...Sundays are busier than Saturdays.

Weird that.

To be fair, they disappeared up their own arses years ago. They used to be pretty good back in the day.

But I still think Mancini will go in the summer if he doesn't win the FA Cup. But even that might not be enough.

If he wins them a trophy they'll call him the second coming of christ.

It depends. Bristol City fans might be delighted by the attention, in fact I think we should close this thread and find a forum related to another City! That would please them ;)

But was Bibotelli worth that kind of money? Has he even got a future in top flight football unless he sorts his head out? Will he cost more matches than he wins?

I don't know but I don't think Yaya should be earning as much as Ronaldo, it just doesn't seem right.

And to top it all off, a City fan lives just a few doors away from me. I can hear the wailing at night and it keeps me awake.

With Or Without You was a good song though but tsunamis really suck. Fishfingers are a bit ... meh... these days, though but the fact that you get to eat fish without the danger of choking on a bone is quite good, I think.

Reminds me of one of my favourite jokes: What's the difference between Bono and God? God doesn't walk around Ireland thinking he's Bono.

Well I'd be more worried about choking on the dry, tasteless emptiness they've become. But at least Balotelli can make them seem slightly less dull.

That's the point though, isn't it? That it's not really that terrible at all? Because however much we like to think of ourselves or our communities or our nation or our race or our species or whatever as these saintly creatures who care about everybody and everything, it's just not the case at all, because the vast majority just don't give a feck. It's all meh to all but a small minority who actually do care, whilst the rest of us just sit in front of the telly hearing about it whilst we eat our fish-finger sandwiches and think about football, and what's so terrible about that? I've got my own shit to deal with, man.

Disagree, and yes, it is terrible. Very much so.

I mean Adam Smith was cited in this thread for feck's sake.

Whatever happened to the good old days of photoshopping someone being impaled by a cock if they disagreed with you? Does everything have to descend into a fifty-page thread of bollock-pontificating?

Some of the moralising in this thread is absolutely ridiculous. I fritter money away on frivolities daily, and I usually sleep soundly at night. Arsenal's draw at West Brom made me more gutted than hearing about the tsunami. I'm an awful person, sorry.

It is possible to appreciate the horrific nature of something whilst not being deeply affected emotionally by it because it affects no-one you actually know.

No.

And you're a fecker if you buy a CL Final ticket too. That money could have gone to Japan.

...not that you'll be buying one, mind.
