Damocles who's a Mod and fine poster despairs at the entitled and blinkered opinions of some of the idiots who've appeared among our fanbase in the last few years.
There was a great buzz about being a blue a short while ago but we have a growing percentage of short term, micro managing, ungrateful cocks amongst our ranks. We are in danger of becoming what we loathed about Pool, Arsenal and (some) United fans.
We still have plenty of good, level headed supporters though and they will win out eventually.

I know that mate. Thing with mancunians is, despite the rivalry, we know blues and reds are brothers, neighbours, friends etc. Not two-headed demons.
I know a couple of blues who turned off once the money kicked in.
Some disenfranchised reds even started a new football club.

I've been furious earlier this season, but now it's just depressing. Losing has become a habit this season. Summer can't come soon enough. I just hope we can squeeze through with 4th place.

That was on the cards in the first 30 seconds when our leader plays a high crossfield pass which is intercepted. Then another minute later Mr T shits out of a challenge with Flanagan.

We are in free fall at the minute and everyone involved tonight should hang their heads in shame.

Silva needs dropping. Absolute joke how poor he his playing lately.

Fernando has one good game then turns back into Cattermole.

Mistakes ALL over the pitch. Simple mistakes as well. Ottamendi diving in, Zabba dwelling on the ball, Navas losing the ball time and time again. Where is the manager on the touchline screaming at them? We've given up on this season. 1 more loss and the battle for 4th is well and truly on.

What gets me is they think they have a god given right to be top of the league.
When Pep comes in, everything will be rosey.

Just like every other club, they have issues, and this league is very difficult to win. Pep won't have it so easy.
 
Pellegrini's couldn't-give-a-feck face on the bench every game makes this even better.

Unlikely as it is, Guardiola managing them in the Europa League would hilarious.

Aguero can't dribble past people and seems to have lost that burst of speed.
 
I think Pellegrini just gaved up after they told eveybody that he is off in the summer and that Pep is coming. Big mistake from City.

Don't forget all their fullbacks are over 30. Pep has been used to having some of the best fullbacks. Their other CMs beside Yaya are Fernandinho, Delph and Fernando. Navas isn't good enough.

say what you want but i can t see him in a Pep team at all doesn t work enough sometimes he is too soft and i can t understand what the feck he can t /is afraid to SHOOT!!! ......and we have some people taking dinho off and putting silva in a 3-man MD for next season Hahahaha based only on this season kdb is shoulders over him he is and will remain a legend for us and the club but he is 30 while kdb is younger and the future of the club as a number10 so won t surprise me at all for silva to be one of those who will leave

Looks to me like Silva's gone in the summer and he knows it.

His form has fallen off a cliff since the Guardiola announcement. It's not like things just aren't going Silva's way, his performances have been shocking and he's barely even trying. There was times tonight when Silva was just walking about not even looking for the ball when Fernando/Fernandinho had it.

I've been saying it for ages, their squad is on the way out. They need a whole new defence their central midfielders aren't good enough, Silva is getting on, Sterling can't finish and Navas is shite. It is up to Toure (when he can be arsed) and Aguero (when he isn't injured) they just are not that good and need a huge clear out.

De Bruyne as well, is he injured ?

City will probably smash Villa on Saturday, and then start winning again, after all, the players wouldn't want to play EL next season, so they'll go on a winning run soon.
 
I have to say my ass is going now. It's in our hands still in terms of securing champions league, which has to be the minimum.

But this is end of an era. Coupled with some terrible business we are a pale shadow of the team we were.

The stats this year are just ugly now. Our worst run since the takeover by a country mile.

I'm not sure where or what to blame, but we are in free fall and that has to be stopped in whatever capacity is required. There is a severe danger of us dropping out of the top 4. Anyone who suggests otherwise is kidding themselves. Our league form is absolutely scandalous. We need a run to start and pronto.
