Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I love the whole good guy - bad guy dynamic. I guess the only way they can force themselves to believe it is if they constantly repeat it.

Pretty sure they've nicked it from RAWK anyway.

It's funny because they're some of the nastiest fans in the league, or at least on Bluemoon they are. Constantly wishing death/cancer/injury/aids on rags and anybody who doesn't support City. Their club isn't exactly saintly either, with the whole billion pound player bankroll.

I enjoy the whole underdog mentality (much like on RAWK) where UEFA and FIFA are dead set against them. That post about the level of 'protection' afforded to us is both hilarious, and a quite tragic summary of the mindset of some of these guys.

I hope we get two men sent off, then hammer them :D

"BBC United"? What !? Are they insane,if there is one place almost aways having a go at us,is freaking BBC,just check their podcasts.

How have they come to the conclusion that they are the good and United are the evil? On what planet has an artificially financially powerful club - which has risen to their position purely from 3rd party investment from a bewilderingly rich oil tycoon - been the epitome of all that is right with football? I don't really give a shit about how they got their money and why they are where they are, but the fact they now believe they are some sort of day-saving football superhero is hilariously delusional.

For what it is worth, even the most tyrannical dictators think that they are the good guy.

Good guys take vast amounts of money from their people who they see as fodder and pump it into a football club in another country to build their portfolio and likely launder that money.

I thought everyone knew that?

I was listening to the the first half of the defeat to Arsenal on BBC radio Manchester. Comments like, "ooh it's three nil at this stage of the game, it'll end up twelve nil if it carries on like this" and "Franny Lee's just just called in to say he'd popped into the kitchen to pour himself a glass of wine and missed the first two goals" suggests they're united biased (NOT!)

No doubt 'BBC Manchester United' will give their normal bias service!

Where's he watching the match then.....BBC's social media feed? I thought they all had season tickets over there and never missed a home or away game the feckin' vermin.

9hoCyqx.gif

Just turned on ITV and bizarrely the chavs from my GIF are on the Jeremy Kyle show right now. Which is insane as I chose the clip at random from an old episode on YouTube.

Anyway, hope to bump this thread later after a United win ;)

It could be a good sign if they are super confident. Everytime they have beaten us recently, Bluemoon have been scared shitless before the match.:D

They wouldn't take a single one of our players, yet we have the best young prospect in Europe (Martial), a world cup winner (Bastian), and one of the top goalkeepers in world football (De Gea).

Cry harder, dickwads.

If these win the league this season it will prove the PL I bent.

"prove the PL I bent" - prove to the PL he's bent? Why would he want to do that?

^ (Randomly, in the middle of what was actually a sensible United discussion by Bluemoon standards)

Regarding our team of 99:

That United side, in a 442 would get murdered every week in this league now.

They wouldn't finish top 3 and I doubt they'd qualify for the CL.

No, I don't think a side that won the treble in 99 would qualify for the CL. They weren't head and shoulders above anyone and weren't the best team in Europe that season either.

Winning a CL doesn't denote that. Look at Liverpool in 2005 or Chelsea a few years back, neither finished top 4 in the league.

Playing a 442 every week with that team they'd get twatted on the break to the likes of Palace, Arsenal, ourselves, West Ham and even the current United.

As I say, it's a different age now and they wouldn't be anywhere near as successful with that set up.

As for pissing the league, you're having a laugh.

About the game and us in general (apparently we're to blame for the way City played):

They are such depressing team to watch, they seem to suck the life out of games which can be effective but that is it, no attack or creativity just the sucking.
I would be bored shitless if i were a utd fan, Van Gaal's one saving grace is he has them in 4th atm.
They have the rest of this season and next of this dross, i can't think of anything worse.......haaaaaaahahahahahahahahhahaha.

Spot on,you get dragged down to their level of play, their problem lies in that if the opposition scores first they are then fcuked,I'm sure the media will hail it as a masterclass by van gaal though...

FFS, we showed more desire and were better with 10 men at the Etihad last season then they were yesterday.

For the home side they were utter crap, not worried about them at all

Of course you're not worried not, but your manager sure as hell shit his pants at the thought of coming to OT.

Yeah, we're peculiar and violent 'feck this', 'cnut that', rag scum' etc.

They are a strange breed some of them, there is a peculiar violent streak in them as well, as Corporal Jones once said "they don't like it up em"

They're not even good to laugh at. RAWK is genuinely funny. Bluemoon makes you reassess the qualities of Man and every moment spent on that forum pushes you closer to an existential crisis.

Dramatics aside, it has a hideous user base.

So because we're so bad they resorted to playing hoof ball the second half? sounds about right.

Rio confirms what we already knew:

Rio: City fans appeared from nowhere after the takeover

Rio Ferdinand has poked fun at Manchester City’s glory supporters who were nowhere to be found before the money. Noel Gallagher hadn’t gone near a City game for God knows how long until they won the league, leaving Ferdinand to ask where all these ‘City fans’ were before.

The whole dynamic changed after the takeover when the money started coming into City, the intensity and rivalry went to a whole different level. Suddenly City were relevant and the drama reached new heights. I’d also never seen so many City shirts in Manchester before. And they started getting noisy. Where were they before? People like Noel Gallagher and Ricky Hatton started coming out of the woodwork to give it the big one as well.

I live in Ireland and I've still only seen about 2 people wear City jerseys. There are thousands of Chelsea jerseys though. Chelsea have an actual identity even if it's just them being arseholes while City are just a PR project.

City fans will be happy that they have no fans worldwide. If you weren't born in Piccadilly Gardens, you are not a real City fan.

Did anyone notice The Emptyhad against Sevilla last Wednesday? There was big banks of empty seats covered over in black all around the stadium, it was a piss poor attempt at making the ground look more full than it actually was...I feel so embarrassed for them sometimes.

It was incredible. Andy Gray was having a go at them. Couldn't believe it wasn't a full house.

They really live in their own little bubble, don't they?
I like how they perceive themselves to be of such importance that the media and press have an agenda against them. Honestly City, no one cares about you. Literally no one. The last title you won is better remembered for Liverpool not winning. Stop trying to make your club seem even a little bit interesting by inventing this stuff.

I've had conversations about that season, mostly centred on laughing at Liverpool, where the other person seriously believed Chelsea won the league that year.

Not happy about this, at all.

It's Manchester City football club who will be charged with this lad, not the CFG or Melbourne. It's money that'll be taken from our pockets. Marked up on our books.

Are we subsidising the tinpot clubs in the CFA now?

This is were a percentage of our season ticket renewals are being siphoned off to? The regular ticket price increases are going towards? Money from our pockets going towards some tinpot club in Melbourne/New York?

Do we receive any income whatsoever from the other clubs in the CFG?

As far as I know even if we did we wouldn't be able to count it under FFP, so it'd be more or less an irrelevance to us.

Really don't like this.

Yes city is somehow subsiding all clubs in the City football group, not the fact that ciity pretty much has been bankrolled by billionaires.

Poor city having to use a billionaires funds to get someone.
