Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Rag PR machine in full flow this morning on the radio. Rat Boy and Family Man are allowing a number of homeless people to stay in a derelict building before they kick them out before doing it up as a hotel! in other words they'vegot squatter

I usually enjoy discussing football with you, Bobby. So what are your predictions for sunday and how do you personally view the importance of the champions league?

Hard to call Sunday's game, I'd be a lot more confident if we had Silva and Aguero fit but as it is we'll have to make do with probably the same lineup for the Bournemouth game with the addition of Kompany, likely at the expense of Otamendi. I have a feeling this derby will be a much tighter and cagier affair than the previous years have been, and possibly not the most exciting for the neutral. There's not been a draw for years now and if I had to put money on it that's what I'd go with. At any rate I'd be surprised if either side won by more than one goal.

As for the Champions League I'll always rather win the league than any European competition simply because that's what you devote most of your time to so to leave empty-handed can leave you feeling bitter and with a sense that all those games were for nothing. Having said that, the CL is still a competition I'd love to see City do well in and it's certainly important for our international prestige. To win it would be an incredible experience, for sure.

Good old ManiManc:

MNF with screech and rat boy. Just covered the rags match from Saturday. Mentioned about going into the derby with a win. We're top of the league.....we won and scored a bucketful of goals again...yep. ...you guessed it.....not a feckin murmur.
*shakes head.
Well what a feckin surprise.

The fact they totally ignore us Is disgusting.
And the fact that we're top of the league and the derby is on the horizon makes them look even more bitter.
You got to laughat them, they must feckin hate us.

ManiManc, mate, people just don't care about City. The headlines around your last title win were all about how Liverpool didn't win it. It's just the way things'll always be.

Why are they so surprised no one gives a toss about them? Shite club, shite history, with a couple of plastic stars on their badge who won the lottery! If they haven't figured it out yet..they never will the dirty bitter dopey feckwits.

In all seriousness, how the hell has this thread actually made it to 211 pages?

Surely we all know by now that each set of fans has its fair share of bellends, which obviously doesn't represent the majority.

Just seems a bit childish I guess, or maybe I'm just a boring fart.

It's funny to some of us. I don't get the transfer muppet threads where everyone panics over random tweets.

Every team, as you say, can count a number of complete tools amongst its followers. City are no exception but think back to the derby that took place around the Munich anniversary in 2008. The City fans that day were a credit to their club and to the game. I spoke to one old-timer not long after who told me that if anyone had tried to spoil the silence, they would have been very sorry afterwards.

Poor bugger. That's like having the chance to kiss Miss World and being told to sniff Lisa Riley's arse instead.

Funny thing is, they've got a thread over there titled:

'Another sign the footballing landscape in Manchester is changing'.

Celebrating the fact they chose the Etihad over Old Trafford and all along the poor bugger wanted to go to Old Trafford but because of a couple of bitter City fans in the council, he has to go there instead

I remember someone posting on here who used to work for Manchester council and he said that most people in the boardroom were City fans and they always made decisions that benefited City and gave United a handicap. If you did that in any other job you'd be fired.

That's not corruption though, only the rags are corrupt

Talk about the state of modern football in a nutshell:
City and United have a battle of moral superiority regarding who should take the president of China on a tour of the ground.

I'd say one of the hardest things about being a City fan is being Utd's younger, weaker, less successful brother with that arrogant older cnut lording it over you at every opportunity. Bullying you whenever it gets the chance. Taking the piss out of you. Then you grew up, got bigger and became as successful. But no matter how well you do they're always there, waiting to feck you over. Even a simple CL game means if they win and you lose it's fecking awful. Then there's the twice a year fight they always used to win. It doesn't matter that you've learned how to stick up for yourself and given them a taste of their own medicine cause no matter how many times you beat them that thought of losing again will always bring back memories of all those years of abuse. You don't know what it's like to support City unless you've got that constant fear of being as shit as you used to be, no matter how good you are now, and with that cnut waiting for you in the shadows.

Yes, you did it all by yourself...jeez.

Welcome to the cosy, nepotistic, not fit for purpose world of the borough council.

Not a fan of the larger lady? :nervous:

In other news pictures are just in from the AGM of the MCFC Supporters Club...

They became 'as successful' - when did that happen? Must be those 3 European cup wins the stars above their badge represent.

It's funny that they accuse us of being obssessed with them, as I pointed out, their United Thread has literally twenty times more posts than our Bluemoon thread (and from a much smaller community)

...but this one takes the cake. Think back to when you signed up at the Caf and chose your username, did it cross your mind once to base your RedCafe online existance on mocking/insulting another team?
