Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

You could make so much money writing The Diary of Bertie Magoo -- Bitter Blue in the style of Bridget Jones.

Rags encountered --3

I went to Lidl in Stockport, and I must explain I'm not actually from Stockport, I'm city centre Manc born and bred, but my aunt had this hairnet crisis and lots of ins and outs, so I'm there temporarily.
But anyway, I met an old rag mate in Lidl. He stood there looking at a bag of frozen peas. I said 'Hi, Dave.'
He thought he could blank me, but I told him that he couldn't understand the beauty of Niall Quinn's disco pants.
Typical rag.
ctid
 that could be real! Complete with the 'jerk' rag! Their stories always seem to go like this! You should do a daily or weekly one Waltraute!

"You just lost a sale!"

*walks out smugly*

As if one lost sale will bring the business to its knees and lead to the rag shop assistant losing their job.

Don't city fans claim that all city fans come from Manchester and there are no United fans in Manchester? That's a hell of a commute to go buy groceries.

It's funny, because they say 'in London' or 'in new York' for example, and then have to follow it with 'it's where I live now, but I promise my mother gave birth to me in Maine Road and Goater was the midwife'.

Pathetic.

It's pathetic and stupid. Who's a 'better' fan: a Spurs (picking them as an example) fan who was born and raised an hour from the ground but only knows the name of some of the players and goes there once a season for a good day out or a guy in the Philippines who gets up at 5am to watch each and every match, has done so for ten years and dreams of attending a game? An extreme example but being born in another country (let alone city) hardly makes you a lesser fan, if such a thing even exists.

Media bias thread:

I'm not one for media bias but there is currently not one headline or byline reference to our match or Sterling's hat trick on the SSN main page... Their lead story is—I am not joking—that Sanchez starred in the match that took Arsenal second. The second tier stories are about United and Chelsea and the bylines are again about Chelsea and Arsenal.

And no mention on Sunday suppliment on the introduction of what they are going to discuss in the next hour or so on our game. However Mr Rooney is getting his praise, then again this is for the Sunday suppliment topic. Media wankers.

Why is City beating Bournemouth less of a story than Arsenal beating Watford or Chelsea beating Villa? We are leading the table

Ooooopppssssssss Spoke toooo soon getting some stick about how we as fans support the Chumps comp. Haaaaaaaa.

Our yellow kit is getting critisised. I've now officially heard itall.

If Arsenal beat Everton next Saturday the media will be gushing over them for going top, followed by wishful thinking all round urging the rags to overtake them after playing us.

Whenwe batter the scum next week it will still be all about united this, united that, how they were the better team, rooney was world class etc, etc, etc,

Don't know the way the scum set up(defensively) if we don't take the chances we always make could end up a draw, take our chances we could win by 2/3 goals 2-2 or 1-3 but if referee has a stinker and bends over for the scum they could end up beatingus

They're going mental over this in the Star:

Apparently one of them knows who we are signing and for how much its in their United thread. Mane done deal in January 100% for 22m were his words  Say this was true, with this type of information and power of knowledge surely you would use it to your advantage get a job or something, so what's he doing hanging around a nasty little bitter forum all day then? Bullshitting bellend springs to mind!

Up until a couple of years ago it was the only way they felt they could outdo us. Although, they did have a wider pitch and taller corner flags than us.
We've got brighter and higher definition advertising hoardings though. That was a weirdly proud PLC announcement.

https://www.redcafe.net/threads/bluemoon-interview-daniel-taylor.400596/

Remember this? Bluemoon asking Daniel Taylor from The Guardian questions in the hope he'd fess up that there's a media conspiracy against City. Then Bluemoon getting annoyed when he didn't give them the answers they wanted to hear.
Great interview. Talk about not letting it lie! Two questions on media bias, a normal one on twitter, then back on the paranoia. Taylor answers really well with intelligence, grace and humour.

I haven't met a lot of city fans but I hope the idiots over at that forum aren't representative of the fanbase.

Was Ronetta that bluemoon tosser that keeps quoting every single redcafe post?

Took me an hour, couldn't decide between this thread and the RAWK one - hope the mods don't mind I enriched both threads :D

The imaginary Manc/rag mates have been shelved, it's now all about who can make up the best story of encounters with imaginary rag shop assistants! :wenger:

I read on and it was followed by this weird one

The key one's biggest flaw is the amount of time it apparently takes in his universe to cut a couple of keys. They would have been pretty much ready by the time the conversation ended, so what was he going to do? Take a step outside, pause for one second, and go back to collect them?

Actually, I'm wrong, the biggest flaw with all of them is they're all complete bullshit.

Oh yes. Very true.
Good luck finding a decent blue wine, you sad petty twats. Mind you, i won't eat a Penguin in a blue wrapper.

Very false. I can categorically confirm all ketchup served at the Etihad inside and outside the stadium is red.
