Mate, because Im not the sharpest tool in the box, could you step by step lead me through what made you mention that article, when as you yourself say, it was not relevant to the point at hand - i.e. whether people care about City (or United)?
Because to those of us who have been cursed with lower than average IQs, you bringing it up in that context really did make it look like you were linking the two points.

See, that's where I would disagree. How do you measure how many people give a shit? Rival fans who hate your club is a great index. The only other way (presumably) is via an approximate estimation of match-day audience (attendance and TV).
Well clearly anybody who doesn't hate city may care about them in some way. That leaves 92% of people who may care about them.
Fair enough, at least it looks like you understand, unlike half the dimwits on here.
Maybe the lesson to learn from this is its good to respond to posts with random stats and then call everyone stupid when they assume said stats are in some way connected to the original point being made.

A better lesson might be to not start laughing and drawing idiotic conclusions without actually engaging your brain. There's a whole load of people on here who have COMPLETELY got it wrong, and actually made fools of themselves but luckily for them they can't even see it.

What the feck is this? That's not even the same type of question as the one in your article. It's like assuming all the people not voting for City still care about them, which there is no reason to believe whatsoever. The only persons you can safely say care about City from that poll are the ones voting for City.

But you have completely ignored - as far as I can see - every post that asks why you bothered to make this link in the first place. Remember, it was YOU who brought up stats showing how many people hate us. Nobody else thought these stats were relevant, nobody else scurried off to dig them out and post them.
Why did you post those stats in the first place? Because YOU thought they were relevant. And then when people laughed at you, you changed your mind. If something is irrelevant, you dont need to post it and then say, this is irrelevant. You just dont post it in the first place. You know... because its not relevant.
