Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

It irritates the shit out of me that, if we didn't do the biggest bottle job in Premier League history, they would only have the league cup and FA cup...Madness

Pellegrini is getting it in spades over there tonight.

Yes, he's an overrated manager, but you have to laugh at how quickly they turn on their own over there. Audible booing at full-time tonight, lambasting players and managers alike... still, I prefer that to their cringeworthy "Pellegrini/Lambourghini" chant.

Fickle bitters.

Hard to argue with this post. A lot of home truths highlighted here:

I know I post a lot of shit. However, this is not a knee jerk reaction. I'm very calm right now. We have bought very badly. We have the highest wage bill in world sport.

I wanted Mancini gone. However, it is now conclusive that Pellegrini is no tactician. All he does is play the same style of football every week. No plan B. No plan to stop the opposition. Just sheer arrogance that we can be mini-Barcelona, let me tell you we are a shell of Barcelona. Why? Because Iniesta and Xavi actually give a shit about their club. He stands there like a plank of wood regardless of the result. Never changes the formation, just the personnel.

We turn up week in week out like we are fecking drunk. Our players look shocked that a game of football is happening. No pressing. No aggression. No passion.

Hart is NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS SOME THINK. I've never seen a keeper get beat at his near post so many times.

It's just funny. Seriously. Money can't buy passion because that is why teams like Wigan and Sunderland embarrass us time and time again. Because they want it more. After 4 years and 2 managers we still can't beat Sunderland and Stoke away. We seem to never learn our lesson.

I'm actually embarrassed to be a city fan tonight. The balance of the team is not right. We have way to many stars and not enough 'glue' players. Cahill, Terry, Azpic etc. Chelsea have a bedrock of solid performers. Aside from Fernandinho and Zaba all of our players have a howler in them. Even Liverpool have Henderson etc. Hard workers. We have a load of lazy feckers robbing us blind.

Soriano promised that we would have a director of football approach and that the first team coach would be cycled every 2 seasons or so. feck managerial stability. This isn't 1980 any more. Sack him and hope Madrid sack Ancelotti at the end of the season.

They've been a gang of gutless gits since Abu Dhabi FC was founded. Something in the nature of the 'project', I suppose

This guy clearly didn't watch the cup final.

they were saved from a home defeat by a howler by the Sunderland goalie. The boos are ridiculus though. I wonder how they would react to being 7th in the league

Just saw the howler; Mannone literally flopped like a fish trying to get it back, it was quite amusing to be fair but harsh on Sunderland from being deprived of a famous victory.

To reacting to 7th, it really would be the emptihad.

-- £90m spent on improving a lavishly assembled squad
-- Rags in tailspin
-- Chelsea in a weaker state than we will see for some years
-- Arsenal and Tottenham as flaky as ever.

Almost a perfect storm.

And we are looking at a League Cup and a probable third place.

You can smell the waft of bitterness of that post.

How so?

The thread documents meltdowns by City supporters on Blue Moon. Up to tonight, they were still bullish about it being their title. The meltdown was always going to be brilliant tonight.
We're currently more of a laughing stock than City.

Yeh the Caf has nothing to be proud of at the moment.
We're currently more of a laughing stock than City.

Yeah but what have City been saying about us all season?

They have been mocking us and have been up on their high horse with the "quadruple/treble" talk. They are out of the Champions League, the FA Cup (to Wigan) and have potentially lost the league after their last 2 results. Why the hell shouldn't we be enjoying them having a meltdown now? They have been making the most of our demise this season, why can't we enjoy their feck up's, even if they are in a stronger position to us. They had it in their hands and they have potentially lost it all bar the Capital One Cup. We knew this was going to be a horrible season for us, they thought they had it all in January.

Just been on Bluemoon there, they are so bitter about everything, particularly Liverpool and United both. I'd go as far as to say they considerably worse when talking about Liverpool than the majority on here. I actually think they are annoyed that neither team considers City as their main rival, quite funny really.

What do they have to be bitter on us this season?

When a billionaire walks through the door, your going to expect that your team is going to do a Chelsea and quickly pick up championships and start to make a dent in Europe.
Hasn't really happened has it? Their one championship was placed in their laps after an epic meltdown by us- Jesus for that one goal!- and their European dream has really been a nightmare.
They'll pick up just the one from four this year, and yes you have to question the mentality, because it's skill and talent that gets you to the business end of the season, buts it's grit and balls that gets you the silverware.

Where has this theory come from? Chelsea haven't done this well in the league since they last won it.

Chelsea are like an expensive snooker cue being held by Rocket Ronnie only to find they have no tip. Once they get a quality striker (won't be easy) they will be very hard to beat. They are still not the Chelsea of old. Arsenal are bottlers and City should have won the league. Fair play to Liverpool for putting themselves in there with a major chance but they have had major fortune (15 pens no Europe out cups early) that have helped them in the league. As much as I can't stand Liverpool (in a football rivallary sense) I have a healthy respect for them and after 25 years aniversity of Hilsborough it would be fitting if they won the league. But unless they invest heavily in the summer I think they will struggle to get back in the top 4 as only S&S are top players the rest are average imo.

Makes you appreciate what Mou has done for Chelsea in his first part. It takes a special manager to break that barrier, just like SAF with us in 1986

I dont blame that one goal, I blame Joey fecking Barton, if he had not of been a cock and got send off, there would of been no injury time.
City owe there PL to Barton.

I beg to differ. City have spunked a billion quid yet they've only one league title, one F.A Cup and one League Cup to their name.

In the wider footballing world, I can assure you City are more routinely mocked than us.

No fun allowed mate. You can't make fun of City, Gerrard, Liverpool here anymore, everybody's a heroe and we're the clowns, you have to accept it and lash yourself 5 times a day screaming 'it's Moyes fault' in order to get absolution.

Caf really got hit by some small-dick-syndrome-tidal-wave recently. It's almost a new fad or competition where you're meant to slate yourself and whole club no matter what.

We're currently more of a laughing stock than City.

Why does stuff like this matter really? Thats part of football, your rivals slip up and you take the piss. There's no point going "Ah well we're worse at the moment so can't say anything" have no teams had a laugh at United for the last 20 years? Course they have, when we lost CL Finals to Barcelona I remember the City fans I know laughing, that's football and it will always be like that. We've not played in nearly 2 weeks either so it's not like there's much for us to tlk about anyway.

I said it in another thread but the more I think about it I'd not be arsed if Liverpool won the league over City. I know far more City fans and in particular the ones I work with are borderline pathetic. They genuinely believe they are similar to your Arsenal, United and Liverpool's who have a more natural growth and if you mntion any kind of money they go purple in the face until they get their point across that United isn't made up of a youth team.

Whether people agree or not I'd argue if City don't win the league this season as things stand the project of being a billionaires play toy is a massive failure for them. They've won 1 league (on goal difference), 1 FA Cup and a League Cup, it really is an awful return I'd argue. The team just seems to lack so much spirit and I'd agree with that post fron BLue Moon some of them really can't be arsed at times, Yaya Toure is the prime example of it, there's games this season where he doesn't even move.

One of the worst set of fans I've come across in all honesty, they're desperate for recognition and respect of people to a point where it's almost pathetic. Some of the ones I know are weird, when they lost the FA Cup fInal to Wigan they pretended they were dead happy for Wigan as if City are hugely successful and don't need another trophy. If they lose the league to Liverpool they'll do the same and then hide behind the fact United fans will be more pissed off if it doesn't happen, seems a strange attitude for a club that is desperate to win stuff.

I love reading Bluemoon after a shitty performance. There was some nutter on Talksport phone in last night who was convinced they will still win the title.

Ive been a United fan since 1999 when I was 10 and I dont think Ive hated a team more than City, its pure joy when I read them moaning about injuries and how they only replaced players and didnt improve the squad.

At least some City fans are beginning to realize they are effectively Portsmouth part 2 and not many players actually care about playing for them. It was never any kids dream to one day play for City.

Yes im revelling in it, because all season weve been getting slagged off to no end, comedy Memes, jokes, parodies. Haha feck em.

It was hilarious yesterday afternoon when some folk on the Caf' actually thought footballers would rather play for City than United.

The current set of bottlers at City don't even want to be there, for feck's sake!

Just a few months back, people on here were raving about how they're the best team on the planet and how they were going to thrash Barca...

I can actually imagine some of the posters on this page doing this every day.

Spot on, mate.

That's not my point, I mean people keep saying this in the worst Chelsea team in recent years when in fact it is the best one since they last one the league, they are closer to the title now that they have been in the last 3 years.

Their forum is vile. So much hate in there it's unreal. RAWK is 100x better.
