Gullible
i thought there will be funny things to read after the weekend. But most of the fun seems to be happening on the man city| pelligrini thread
Its harder to laugh at others when your not doing that well yourself. If we were top of the league and playing well, the ribbing would be endless. It should be anyway, but that's just the way it is.why is this thread so dead?
fair enough. but our form and current league position is not stopping people from calling city a 2-man team. a team with no depth despite of the immense amount of cash spent. Just that it has been on another thread. it will be more fun to read knee-jerk and exaggerated posts from the city supporters after the weekend that just passed. Its harder to laugh at others when your not doing that well yourself. Mooners are boring.why is this thread so dead?

We're in a crisis, we didn't spend millions on the likes of Navas and Negredo, we didn't bring in a flavour of the month manager and we're trailing them on the tab..oh wait.
why is this thread so dead?
Burnage Red said:Carrick has had achilles tendon surgery so - unless he has Lazarus-esque recovery powers - he'll certainly be out until Christmas. Huge loss; I'd say losing Carrick is like City losing Kompany... we're simply a far more solid unit when Carrick plays.
As for the other two pull-outs... well RVP has missed a number of games in the last six weeks, including the derby, due to niggling groin and toe injuries so this is hardly unexpected. And Welbeck hasn't started a game for us since October 2nd due to knee problems.
With some of the reactions on here, you'd have thought we'd have dragged them from their respective international bases kicking and screaming

Now off you pop back to rag café to discuss how hard done to you are by referees.!!
Van Persie
Wellbeck
Carrick
All out of internationals through 'injuries' .............the lying cheating bunch of plastic bastards.................
They'll all be kicking off if they don't get picked come the world cup
Retards gunna tard.
The way they speak to opposing fans, I'm surprised they even allow them to post.
I know we banter with the opposition fans here but I'd say most of the time we value the opinions they bring to this place.
Yeah, I went there once to defend Ajax when City fans were calling them things like a 'shitty feeder club' with 'no history' - despite having achieved more in Europe than City could ever dream of. Not only was I slaughtered for criticising their attitude, I was banned after only one post, and they didn't even know I'm a United fan.
I think it speaks volumes here that one of our mods is a gooner.

One of our Admins is a dirty Leeds fan and iirc another was a Scouser. Abuse on that level would result in the United fan being banned here and rightfully so.
Also, one of the admins was Weaste. I bet you didn't know that.

Which ones?
I actually like that, even if they are a dirty Dipper and a filthy white Peacock it's more open minded.
Really? I thought he was just a super-high post count legend?
I think Weaste banned himself to see if he could and it removed his modmin powers.
The legend created by other modmins says so.I think Weaste banned himself to see if he could and it removed his modmin powers.

You are correct. It was fecking hilarious. I think he had to come back through the newbie route at first and only later did he get unbanned
Why didn't his admin priviliges returned though? Maybe Niall was afraid that the next time Mr. W would delete the entire Caf just to look if he can.You are correct. It was fecking hilarious. I think he had to come back through the newbie route at first and only later did he get unbanned
did he really do that?I think Weaste banned himself to see if he could and it removed his modmin powers.

Hasn't Weaste had his post count reset before now as well?

Why would he want to go there?
I always wonder, with the amount of money they have and are willing to spend, why the City don't just poach Wenger by tripling whatever Arsenal would pay; instead of overpaying those expensive overrated players.
It's a lot cheaper, they'll play expansive attacking football, and an almost guarantee league dominance in the next 5 years (at least). Just imagine what Wenger could do with 100m budget every season.
Right.. Wenger will leave Arsenal to go to City after repeatedly speaking out against financial doping?
Why would he want to go there?
