The berties are hurt mate, they've yet again been rejected by a world wide name and its all getting a bit much especially when they thought it was a done deal, the fact a 100 page spread dedicated to 'signing wayne Rooney' is all over their forum says it all, they were desperate for him to join them, they had a poll proving it no less, now they're back to licking their wounds and closing down the forum for outsiders to try and limit embarssment levels.
They're a small club with nothing but money to offer, the last weeks just highlighted it further.
