He should have a tip jar beside him and try a scheme like our fans have done with Ronaldo. A couple of quid here and there will get the money to bring Bob back in no time.

"You'll never win anything with Kidd."

Yep. I'll be next in line for the sack.

Great, I could sabotage them...although they've just fired someone who did that.

With the new manager coming in and a selection of players who want to leave I would imagine we will see a lot of transfers in the summer.

If it were up to me these would be the ones that would be in the running.

Dzeko- too good to be a bench player and would bring in about £15 million
Kolarov- not good enough for where we want to be. Has to be on the bench or go for about £5 million
Pantilimon- wants to leave as he will never be selected ahead of hart. Would fetch about £3-5 million
Barry- an unsung hero in my opinion however I think his better days are behind him. £5-10 million
Yaya- controversial choice. great player that has scored truly vital goals however there have been too many half hearted performances and I think we rely too much on him at times. Someone like PSG would pay about £20-30 million.
Tevez- he wants to go and would fetch about £15 million

In my opinion we need players who want to be there and are willing to fight for the cause. I think we need to mindful of FFP and try and even out the wage bill and with the money that we bring in from sales can go towards a couple of major signings. Gareth Bale springs to mind as a player that we should go all out for.

I'm not sure this guy quite gets FFP.....sell some players to make some money because of FFP, then spend it all (plus more) in order to buy other players

 times like this make me laugh.

"LETS GET A BUNCH OF PLAYERS WHO WANNA PLAY FOR THE SHIRT"... Um.. I think that ship has sailed mate..

I love the implication that there's 11 world class City fans who would bleed for City just waiting to be signed up.

That is pretty much how FFP works though. If you're only spending the money you've earned then you're breaking even.

I read it as he wants to sell all those players because of FFP, but then wants to spend even more money than they recoup....which would make their FFP "balance" worse.

I don't understand that player sales thing. The sales there add up to at best 80 million if you use the upper end figures, and Bale is going to cost more than half of that which leaves you with less than 40 million to replace the six players you've sold (none of whom are wingers, so Bale isn't really replacing any of them is he).

City have announced they're increasing the capacity of eastlands to 54k.

That's equivalent to every city fan having their own personal sofa to watch the game.
