When is the last time Liverpool and United did business?
If he does leave it will be to the continent.
I can't believe this still has legs. lolz.
We don't even need a player like him anymore. We cannot unfortunately find 55 mil to sign him.
Even if we did there is no way Pool will sell or he will move to us.
Don't need him
Don't want him
Berbatov - Rooney - Hernandez - welbeck and macheda next season up front for us please
You can't sustain a squad with too many players up front
If we blow 40 million it will be on sneijder
feck that. I can just about tolerate Nani as it is, signing Torres would be too much fannyness on the one team for me. On the same scale I can just about tolerate Michael Owen, signing Torres would be too much Dipper on the one team for me.
Hernández has the potential to be just as good anyway, and at a tenth of the cock value. Personally I hope some foreign team come in and undercut Chelsea and Liverpool accept it out of spite.
And yes, after all the shit I got about Rooney, I am absolutely Kevin Keeganing this.
Scott Tenorman mus Die is the best Soith Park episode ever
No thanks. I'd much rather Berbatov and Rooney, with Hernández waiting in the wings.Don't need him and won't get him but to just imagine a Rooney Torres combo in top form
I think we should give it a go. Doubtful it would happen but could 'Pool really resist say 55 million pounds?
This one's for you, Raoul.

1. Sure we do, it's in the prospectus.
2. The more the merrier
3. Saha, Hargreaves.
4. Never say never. The boy wants Champions League football.5. There's no doubt about that.
Pointless thread really because Liverpool wouldn't sell him to us. And after all his under-achievement of the past year, do we care? If he goes to Chelsea and turns it on, so be it. Don't like him anyway. He has the kind of face you want to slap.
I've just had a mental image of Torres and Owen starting upfront for us at Anfield later in the season.
He'd be worth the money for that alone.
Our forward like is functioning beautifully. Chelsea are welcome to the moody, moany crock. Especially at such prohibitive prices.
I don't really want Torres, injury prone. we have Chicharito who has the same pace/ flair is a excellent prospect and might bypass him, Rooney and Berbatov are better footballers, and some real talent in Macheda, Welbeck, Diouf, King etcetera.
