Oh ffs I nearly killed them and then the last one summoned some bastard snake.

Does anyone have any good advice for Darkbeast? I thought I was just underleveled at first but now I'm around 50 and still getting absolutely slaughtered.

Never mind, made it!

After leaving Forbidden Forest. Got a similar hat too.

Beat the Witch of Hemwick. Quite possibly the easiest boss I have beaten in any game in recent memory. Apart from trying to bind you, she did absolutely nothing but play hide and seek. Nice to have a battle like that now and then I guess.

Bastard invaded me in the Nightmare Of Mensis. Had him/her down to a sliver of health, then my controller went dead and he/she killed me.

Fecking horseshit!

ARGH feck I had Rom down to the f*cking 'o' of his name and he killed me.

Just lost 70,000 blood echoes making my way back down to the shadow of yarnham. Whats worse is It wasnt even an enemy I had to fight, feckin snake headded shites.

Eileen the Crow question:

I'm trying to do the Eileen quest line but she doesn't show up for me. I met her in the sewers in Central Yarnham, then moved on with the story line, beating Cleric Beast, Gazza, BSB, Vicar Amelia, Heimwick Witches, Shadow of Yarnham and Darkbeast Paarl. Only now did I read about her quest and meeting up with her at Cathedral Ward and Tomb of Odeon - but she's not in any of those places and I believe I've unlocked all the relevant gates in Cathedral Ward. Have I just gotten too far in the story and triggered a glitch or does anyone have any idea how to make it work?

I only read about her last night and remembered meeting her at the start of the game. I never once noticed her in cathedral ward. I will look tonight for her

She's supposed to be just outside the cathedral with the lamp post and to the left. I'm contemplating going back to the sewers and killing her if she's there just to get her drops but I've been trying to play the hero thus far.

Did my Eileen quest as soon as I could and it all went fine. Are you guys post Rom? As one of the parts requires you do advance the story to continue with her quest

All her info :

Eileen the Crow Location's

Eileen the Crow Quest Line
  • Eileen can initially be found in a side room accessed from the rafters, at the Central Yharnam Sewer entrance. This entrance is hidden behind boxes and barrels near a staircase and is very close to the old lady that you can send to a safe place.
She will give you 4 Bold Hunter's Mark and the "Shake Off Cape" Gesture (be sure to speak with her twice).
If you miss her and complete Central Yharnam, she'll show up in Cathedral Ward.

  • At the Tomb of Oedon lamp you will have to help Eileen with the fight with Henryk to receive "Approval" Gesture. You will also receive the Heir Caryll Rune from the Henryk's corpse. If she dies in this encounter, the quest line will not continue.
Be Warned, accidentally hitting her to many times whilst trying to help with the Henryk encounter may turn her hostile after the fight. She remains hostile even if you reload the area.

No, I'm not past Rom. From what I can gather that's the third step and I believe I should do the second step, the Henryk fight, first.

Just went back to the sewers to kill her just to get her gear and she's not
Then your lamp shouldnt be working
The Tomb of Oedon lamp, right?

Just checked back in the sewers, she's not there. Seems to have gone missing from my game.

Yeah if you've talked to her just outside the chapel and got all the dialogue and items in my spoiler post, then you go back to the dream and try teleporting to tomb of oedon and a box comes up saying its unavailable right now

My problem is she doesn't show up outside the Chapel. I only met her in the sewers, and she's not there anymore.

And you did what the notes say and bought the emblem, opened up the shortcut and did most of the content around that area?

I had the same problem with Eileen :(, will just leave it till NG+

Getting to the Shadows of Yarnham was no easy feat... kept getting lost, one time I end up in an area with
giant headed aliens
, next time I'm walking down this underground area only
to die to giants
. Then, when I've finally made progress, there's a guy on a rooftop who looks like an enemy, so I go and hit him
and he transforms in to a giant beast
.

After beating the shadows I decided to walk forward to move on because my curiosity got the better off me, then I saw a
giant inscet head thing
and ran back to level up... enough Bloodborne for now.

I believe so. Seems like it's glitched, with space having the same problem. I'll just advance the story and hope she eventually shows up somewhere.

I hadn't been trying to do the Eileen Crowe storyline, but after beating Rom I returned to cathedral ward and she was at the altar Vicar Ameila was praying at. After an epic battle and when she was about one hit from death she killed me. I'm going to leave her for now.

Just had to spend the last couple of hours farming blood phials. Did the first Chalice dungeon too, I think I was well over levelled because it was really easy. Still not sure what benefit they provide apart from consumables.

Normal chalices give you blood echoes, and progress to other chalices, including one of the bosses giving you the "root" chalice version of the normal dungeon

The "root" versions are randomly designed and give you uncanny, lost and other versions of weapons. These give you different types of slots for gems. Its also an alternative way to get weapons

There are also like 6 bosses that arent in the story, boss versions of normal enemies, story bosses in different rooms (like one had rom in quite a small room). I'm at the isz chalice layer 3 and the bosses are a lot harder than any in the normal game, so theres the challenge.

You can also co-op up to 5 players for the chalice dungeons and can make a sinister chalice which would house pvp

I think I'll focus on them after I finish the main game.

Beat the Shadows of Yarnham last night on my first attempt after a bit of a break (having failed the last four at the weekend there). Seems the trick is to get the one with the fireballs killed first, because hes a much bigger cnut than the other two. It was pretty late though when I got on so didnt stay to get my arse kicked by those feckin insect things in the next area.

Also tried to look for Eileen but couldn't find her, she wasn't at the balcony in central Yarnham (I've definitley met her once there) and wasn't at the Catherdrad Ward. Though I've got the wooden shield im not too sure if I've opened the shortcut to the grand cathedral so that'll be my first port of call tomorrow.

She is gone for me too. I know I have all short cuts open. I met her in the 1st part but missed her in cathedral ward. I wonder does she disappear after killing Vicar Amelia

Yeah its a tad frustrating as I like getting extra NPC stuff to the game and hate it when I miss stuff like that. Like when I first got to the Catherdral Ward lamp I was running low on blood vials and a bit on edge, I saw what I thought was some feckin creature there and killed it immediatley with no hesitation. Turns I killed a 'woman' that you're supposed to talk to and she tells you the church is safe or some shit, now every time someone asks if I know safe place to go my only option is 'No' :nervous:

that would have annoyed the hell out of me

I have 4 NPC's hanging out in that church.

Although I think you can send them to the clinic at the start of the game if you want. But things apparently dont turn out too good for them, if sent there

I spotted this too. Was just thinking why bother even posting

Because I thought it would have been a day one purchase, just seemed to have slipped out the gaming zone at the moment.

I've contributed more to this thread than you 2 have to the entire caf so shut your holes and know your roles.

Yeah she does disappear when you beat Vicar Amelia. You were supposed to talk to her in the cathedral ward beforehand and she mentions the mad hunter in the Tomb of Odeon. When she disappears you go off to the tomb to fight the hunter with her. There is a consequence now:

She will appear later in the game trying to hunt you (I think!!)

Level 98, lower Pthermu(?) chalice dungeon, undead giant. I'm getting my arse handed to me. Need help but no one will respond to me beckoning bell.
