To be honest, a manager can try to determine that based on the comments that posters make in the thread. It may not provide the full information regarding the direction of the match, but it's still not a bad way to assess the situation. It will also introduce another challenge for the manager: should they really push for a change, or should they stick with what they've got and hope that it would work out in the end?
That's a good point. Something else we should consider is what the opposing manager expects the others tactics to be. I remember Anto going for a 3-2-3-2 and his argument was it was so unexpected for the other side that he'd be two up by half time.
So we could create a template of anticipated line-up, formation and tactics (possession or direct) and any man marking jobs. So a manager would post his own and the anticipated set-up for the other team. Should make the draft threads more interesting.
