Gutted. And sick to stomach. Such a magical player and the sort of player you want to light up Old Trafford. Would be underwhelming if we choose James instead.
This seems to have upset you for some reason. I never implied any of what you just accused me of.
All of a sudden James is better than Silva and we didn't want him anyway.
Kind of a "jam tomorrow" situation going on though - how many players have meant to be massive and turned out to be less than spectacular. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Di Maria was meant to be the final piece for us and he didn't work out - we need players who fit our style and if Mourinho doesn't see that then let's find out who we get.People won't realise how big of a loss this is for another few years. He is going to be World class.
SameAh man! Wanted him

Sarcasm? We'll be forever trying to close the gap with City now. We've been run like a shambles for years whilst City just sign top quality players.
Monaco fans claiming the fee was 71m pounds.
It really doesn't. Window has not even opened yet. We will sign players. This shows we need to move fast or else we will be left behind.
We are all disappointed because he will benefit City a lot but calm the feck do down, we still don't know who we will bring.
Silva benefits Pep's style of play, doesn't mean he should necessarily benefit Jose's one.
If Pep Guardiola were an architect his houses would have 11 palatial dining rooms and nowhere to take a s**t.
And Silva wants to be here? And, yes his touch might be amazing but how is he against teams that will press him, or with team mates who have difficulty controlling the ball in tight spaces? What is his work ethic like, will he play through the pain barrier like Mourinho would want him to? If he goes to City he'll be playing in a team that like to keep the ball, press and attack. Under Mourinho he'd be expected to put in a defensive shift and counter attack.Di Maria never wanted to be here in the first place. Silva is a top, top talent. You'd be hard done finding any players on the planet with the control he has, Messi and Iniesta, probably it. If things go his way, we're going to be regretting letting him to go City without a fight for a while yet imo.
I've never really given a shit who our rivals sign, but Silva is a special talent.
Dont give a damn, Our style of play whole season has not been different. Pep does not have a right to get every creative players out there .

The above are genuine questions as I'm not overly familiar with the player.
ThisI'm fine with not getting him, I just hope we're not getting James instead .

In a way, that is another reason I'm a bit disappointed. But maybe Jose will be more attacking next season in the big games with better players.
You're not suggesting he's anywhere near Ronaldo, are you?You guys remember the last time a portuguese player destroyed a Manchester team and then signed for them????
If Pep Guardiola were an architect his houses would have 11 palatial dining rooms and nowhere to take a s**t.
"Ed Woodward has my list, what I want, what I would like for more than two months,"
“Will Bernardo Silva be with us next season? I don’t think so, honestly. But you never know, good players are always welcome here.”
Jose's target list is already with Woody,I believe Silva was not one of them. This shows we need to move fast or else we will be left behind.
And yet we finished level on points with them last season and were on a similar trajectory this year until a couple of freak injuries derailed our league campaign leaving us with only two major trophies to their zero this season as well as qualifying for the Champions League. Shambolic. We'll be forever trying to close the gap with City now. We've been run like a shambles for years whilst City just sign top quality players.
Adama TraoreSeems to be a problem.
Douglas Costa, who's not that good seems to be the best on the market. I can't even draw a hypothetical list of wide players I'd like us to buy.
Don't forget Grizmann for a bargain 100mill. I really can't see why we haven't had much success given how amazing we are at transfers since Fergie left.

We have Angel Gomes. Folks are forgetting that he promoted him to 1st team action at 16! He could have gone with older players but didn't.In a way, that is another reason I'm a bit disappointed. But maybe Jose will be more attacking next season in the big games with better players.
