I wonder if the same people who are crying over this will say buying Griezmann for 100 mil would be too expensive. Wouldn't surprise me.
Don't forget Grizmann for a bargain 100mill. I really can't see why we haven't had much success given how amazing we are at transfers since Fergie left.
All good, agree but uts bizarre that people are panicking while it's end of May..Feck no, if we lose out on Griezmann we're looking at a disaster now. Absolutely no chance we can let him off the hook now. Our attack is fecking shite and one of a very small sample of top available players is already off to our rivals.
If we do get Griezmann we'll still be set, still think we need another attacker though.
Neither is Sterling. Both players occupy the same sort of areas. Not a winger though is he? I would have thought he is competing with De Bruyne and David Silva for a spot. Not Sane and Sterling. Also consider they may play both Aguero and Jesus next year.
A lot of depressed bedwetters in this thread. Grow a pair.

Jesus...@Devil_forever already did.
Yeah we have been playing second fiddle since hazard transfer to chelsea, as bitter as it sounds its true. Why would you let others take the lead when that other player can improve you.

If we don't sign a player, either its the end of the world and we've fecked up or he's shite and we're lucky we missed out.
Look Silva is a massive talent, but he wasn't right for United.. he would be another Mkhi/Mata at this club but slightly better. We would have made him track back like a dog, barely give him any possession to work with and with his lack of pace, he'd have struggled to make an impact in our side as a right winger, that is a fact. There is no way with our style of play, we would make it work with Silva, Griezmann and Pogba.. almost three playmakers who like to operate centrally. It would have been the most expensive clusterfeck of all time.. and we'd still look shocking as an attacking unit next year, only an extremely pretty one with neat triangles and nice dribbling.
He's gone to the right club. He'll be a big success there, under a manager who will give him the right platform to succeed, someone who understands playmakers like Silva alot better than Jose ever will and will have team mates with the same wavelength.
He's not shit, he has the ability to be a world class player but he wasn't the right player for us. Good move for all parties concerned.
I honestly think someone like Mahrez/Costa out wide, would be a far better tactical fit for Mourinho style football than Silva ever could and we can get them at half the price. If we want to go real top dollar, Dembele/Bale/Mbappe.. are the guys we need out wide, not a playmaker who lacks top tier pace in Silva.
I can understand why younger players make this intermediate step, but when I look at a team like United and you tell me they can´t guarantee somebody like Tielemans 40 games a season immediately? Now he goes to Monaco for €25M and in two years they´ll sell him to somebody for €60M. Sometimes it seems that getting a bargain is not cool anymore. It´s t like only the transfer fee defines the class of the player.
Well said.
Great, informative post. Jose proved this year, he clearly possess a plan for a trophy winning team.If we don't sign a player, either its the end of the world and we've fecked up or he's shite and we're lucky we missed out.

Think a Mane like player would be perfect for us.Fantastic post. We already have a similar player in Mkhitaryan I think. Need someone with more speed.
Season was ok, he would possibly get into our team, yes, but he wouldn't make it better. Going forward he is not better then Mata, Micky..he is pretty similar to Lingard though, regarding work rate etc. Would not have made our team better, nor worse. Similar to Bernardo Silva. I'd rather get players that really make our team better.Pedro's had a fantastic season and would easily fit in Utd's team.
Get a grip on yourself. They can absolutely have him for that price. How can you be so sure it will work out for him there? I can name plenty of players they have signed that have been absolute garbage for them. I do think he will do well there, but how can you say if we signed him that it would work out. City's style and ours are polar opposites. We'll be forever trying to close the gap with City now. We've been run like a shambles for years whilst City just sign top quality players.

It's ok. We're getting Griezmann & Neymar.Relax? RELAX?! This is Muppet Season, nobody is relaxing any time soon! Don't you get it; we're shit. City are going to get Silva, Chelsea will get Ronaldo and Messi, Pele will join Stoke and Hitler will become a ball boy at Crystal Palace. Meanwhile we'll get relegated, and have to forfeit Transylvania to Hungary. It'll be a total mess.
Tielemans signing for United would mean he would be expected to perform very well every game.
At Anderlecht, Monaco, he can afford to have off games or run into a bad patch of form because there's much less pressure.

Its alright guys we have our own number 10 at the club who will be better in a couple of years time... Angel
Did they score the most goals this year? The best attack in league just got better. Like De Bruyne and Sane, another one I think we'll regret not going for.
